I will never get over this design day with .floral and . Whenever I get to collaborate with fellow creative women in this valley, I am BLOWN AWAY! The ideas they conjure up and execute are just spectacular. And when this barn became the subject of our creation, things fell into place. My favorite part is that every. single. stem. used in this set-up was grown on my farm. Whoever said that flower farms can’t produce high-quality, artfully curated blooms is just wrong. This shoot is living proof. And the best part of it all is that we’ll be growing and creating more this year! Moral of the story is reach out to your fellow creators, even if they’re in the same field as you, and make something together. It’s always, always, always worth it! Competition is a capitalist myth 💜

It’s been a helluva year! I’ve only just begun to reflect on all that we accomplished in 2024. So much of it seems like a flowery, wonderful blur. What I do know that we sold more flowers than any year before. We grew more plants than I thought possible. We flowered 15 weddings, elopements and events. We hosted 6 workshops with and . That’s just the tip of the iceberg (flowerberg?)!

Most importantly YOU showed up, bought our flowers and loved our farm. We couldn’t do it without you! And it seems that you all love it when we post photos of dogs, dahlias, my farmer face and wreaths! Don’t worry, there will be A LOT more of all that in 2025. We cannot wait to see what it has in store.

Life has been busy the last few weeks prepping for holiday markets and enjoying family time in the Montana mountains 😵‍💫 I forgot to post my usual Thanksgiving love. So please take this as my heartfelt, deep seated thank you a week late. I am grateful for you - YES YOU reading these words. YOU’RE the one who keeps this farm alive. YOU continue to inspire me to never stop pushing my artistry and farming love to new heights. Without YOU, there would be no heart, love and joy in Wild Flora. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being here and supporting us. I know that your love knows no bounds and will help us build a better world. So seriously, from every cell in my being, thank you 🙏

Beneath the gentle autumn sun and the changing of the leaves, M+J shared the perfect day with their loved ones. Their love radiated throughout their perfect rustic modern venue - you could feeling spilling from every person in these halls, both guest and vendor. I cherished creating with almost all local flowers for this mid-October wedding for one of the sweetest couples. I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to wrap up the 2024 wedding season!

Come join me for two nights of Holiday Fun! We’ll be making evergreen wreaths, sipping refreshments and indulging in tasty bites. Everyone leaves with huge smiles and the most stunning wreaths for their doors! They’re truly my favorite nights of December! And it’s even more fun if you create with a friend or two. I hope you join me at this Friday from 6:30-8pm or next Wednesday at from 6-7:30pm. Space is limited and we always sell out. Get those tickets quick! Don’t worry - food and your first drink is included in the price. That’s why it might seem higher than you’d expect.

Hey y’all - I’m Madie, the owner, grower and head designer at Wild Flora. If you’re new here I’m a passionate, silly Virgo sun with a fiery moon and ascendant, so I farm with lots of love (and a bit of loud enthusiasm!). With degrees in international studies, Spanish, and Latin American studies, I’ve got a complex love-hate relationship with politics. But that’s what fuels my desire to build a community where everyone, regardless of gender, race, or religion, can come together and rely on each other through tough times. I hope to be focusing on this a lot more in the upcoming years. My dream beyond farming is a senior dog sanctuary filled with happy pups and Highland cows. That’s what keeps me growing, both flowers and connections. Please pop off in the comments and tell me about yourself! Even give me ideas of how you want to see Wild Flora grow into the community.

I have very few words of comfort right now. My heart aches, a pit in my stomach grows. But what I have learned from the last 8 years is that we need community right now. We need to lean on, support, and fight for each other. If you need a comforting space, join us tonight from 6-8pm at for our first workshop. Tomorrow, let’s use our voices to push for a better future by voting blue. I have never told anyone how to vote because I firmly believe that we have a right to our own opinions. But this election is too important. If He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named wins, we won’t have the right to have differing opinions. We need leaders who will protect our values, our human rights, and our communities. And once we’re heard, we can keep holding our leaders accountable. You know I will be out there demanding justice for Gaza, Lebanon, the Congo and every other unnecessary g*en0c!d3. Plus, reminding Idaho senators and representatives that abortion is healthcare.

Vote like the future of our democracy depends on it—because it does.

We know that YOU know how scary climate change is right now. We’re living through environmental disasters like we’ve never seen before. And sometimes we feel helpless in taking it all on. But little acts matter! Which is why we got into growing flowers organically in the first place.
🌼 Local flowers disrupt the importing of blooms drenched in chemicals from thousands of miles away. 🌼 Our flowers are grown hand in hand with nature. We start them from seed during the cold months and at the end of the season, they’re composted.
🌼 We use natural fertilizers when necessary that add to our soil health and incorporate as many regenerative farming techniques as we can.
All of this is to be in the flow of Mother Nature and to do our small part against climate change. When you buy our flowers, you’re doing a small part too! It’s just a bonus that our flowers last so long in a vase.
Lastly, one of the best things we can do when it comes to climate change is vote for people who will put policy in place to get us to net zero. Please do your research and vote for candidates that will get us there in a couple of weeks 💜

We have so many incredible, seasonal goodies for you right now! Just because the fresh flowers have gone with Saturday’s frost doesn’t mean that the farm’s beauty is over.
