Something I feel very passionately about as a family photographer and mother is respecting media preferences for your children. In our increasingly tumultuous time culturally and digitally, privacy is hard to come by. In my contract for any type of session, if children are directly involved and will be photographed, I have a section requiring the client to choose what level of privacy they prefer for the child(ren). This part of the document is binding and I will never post a child’s face without the permission of the grown ups, as much as I would love to grace my page with a sweet smiling cherub face! 🥰 Sometimes those sweet, gap-toothed, grinning babes are saved for family and family only. And I’ll always stand by that.

A little glimpse into my life lately and why I took such a long hiatus off of shooting. Theo keeps me busier than I would have ever thought! Parks, playgrounds, museums, and literally any chance to play in water whether it causes frostbite or not. We have finally hit a period of homeostasis and I’m so excited to have booked a few family sessions to get my feet wet again. I can’t wait for more!! 📸

About Erin Lynn Photography

As your photographer, my goal is to capture the small moments that make up your biggest events. The epic dance-off that you and your best friend have at your wedding, your spouse rubbing your back as you go into another wave of contractions, or a precious, unexpected kiss on the cheek that your grandparents share when they think no one is looking. These sweet details are what make our events so special. It’s not the decorations, the food, or the room you are in - it’s those things that happen in a flash.

My sensitivity to those tender moments combined with my experience as a professional photographer help me capture the emotions of the day - not just the actions of the day.
