A little glimpse into my life lately and why I took such a long hiatus off of shooting. Theo keeps me busier than I would have ever thought! Parks, playgrounds, museums, and literally any chance to play in water whether it causes frostbite or not. We have finally hit a period of homeostasis and I’m so excited to have booked a few family sessions to get my feet wet again. I can’t wait for more!! 📸

Recently, I was honored to do a session for a family who is saying goodbye to their girl, Stella, much too soon. This sweet thing was very excited to have a guest over and was apparently spunkier than she had been in weeks. When I arrived, I was sitting on the floor meeting her and her two big little brothers. The younger of the two said to me “Stella is sick. And when she dies I’m going to go with her.” 💔 No matter how old your fur baby is, it’s always too soon to say goodbye. 🤍

Hello again, insta! I’m back with a little (big) update… on July 31, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy, Theo Andrew! He is 4 months old and the absolute joy of our lives. Because I’m playing Stay at Home Mama right now, I won’t be going back to the classroom for awhile. But this gives me more time to get back behind the camera. I will be completely rebranding and relaunching my little business in the new year, so keep an eye out! 🥳

I’d say this is a solid post to say hello a year and a half later! 🤩Becka and Saad’s courthouse wedding was just the bees knees. I’m so happy I finally got to shoot inside Pike Place Market - a dream since moving to Seattle that I just never got around to pursuing. Congratulations to these two, living it up in India on their honeymoon! 🤍

Hi, hello. 🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m still alive! I just had my very own wedding in August AND I have a brand new wrist after surgery in July. Still camera-free for now but I’m looking forward to getting back behind the lens soon. 🥰❤️

Last night was a ✨dream✨. I’m just so honored that our friends ask me to do their photos every year for their anniversary. We choose a new location each year, and this one blew me away. I didn’t know I wanted to shoot at Pike Place until I did. The weather held out for us, there were very few people, and it was gorgeous light. Fun fact: Annalia is wearing the dress I was going to elope in (before we canceled our elopement! 👀🤣). But for real, does anyone need a wedding dress?? 🥰❤️

Happy anniversary to the sweetest couple! Alex and I met 5 years ago at one of our Meetup.com group hangs when I first moved to Seattle. (If you’re new to a city, is a fantastic way to meet people and make friends!) Alex and Angi had a beautiful, intimate wedding at Angi’s family’s church and Angi looked like a dream in her a-line, off-the-shoulder gown. Alex couldn’t take his eyes off his bride. This was such a sweet, love-filled, wonderful wedding to shoot and I was honored when they asked me! Shooting your friends wedding just hits different. 🥰 Wish these two a happy first anniversary with me!
