We had a little help planting in the gardens last weekend getting ready for our opening in May! We’ll be continuing to put plants in the ground throughout the spring—things are only going to get more beautiful from here. Come visit us starting in May, Monday-Friday from 9-5 at a suggested donation of $5 per person. We can’t wait to see you!

We’re excited to announce the opening of the gardens for daily visits! Starting in May, we’re open to the public at a suggested donation of $5 per person Monday-Friday from 9-5. We will occasionally be closed mid-week for private events (check our website for closure dates) and are always closed for private events on the weekends. Our little team has been hard at work prepping the gardens for spring and summer and we can’t wait to share the beauty with you!

We’re SO excited to host Lyndsey & Kayla’s wedding this summer! These two came back to the property today after their initial tour to game plan their big day and it was so fun to connect with them again. We’re getting so excited for wedding season!

Meet Davíd & Tomás. Tomás manages greenhouse operations while Davíd oversees the gardens. These brothers bring some serious manpower to Glen Echo, always coming with big ideas and action to back them up. They seem to walk-jog-skip wherever they go. So grateful for the motivation, silliness and fun these two bring to our business!

The greenhouse is bursting with color right now! Our team is working hard (don’t worry, we have music and margaritas) preparing for spring planting in the gardens as well as gearing up for Sun Basket sales. We’ve been hand making our own cedar hanging baskets and stuffing them full of gorgeous blooms for you—get in touch to claim your basket for Mother’s Day! 🌻

Things are happening! We’ve got SO many things in store for this spring and summer season, including gearing up to offer nightly camping and glamping options in the gardens. Tomas has been hard at work prototyping a geodesic dome which will be available to rent in the next couple of months. Stay tuned!
