Announcing my only workshop for the rest of the year! Join me to create with beautiful, seasonal flowers. You will learn design basics and practical mechanics for making your very own seasonal garden arrangements.

We will create large arrangements in large plant pots with sustainable flower mechanics that you can reuse. These arrangements will feature dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, sunflowers, yarrow, delphinium, mint, phlox, rudbeckia, calendula, honeysuckle, amaranth, orach, starflower statice, pincushion flowers, nicontia, and tweedia as well as other local, seasonal foliage and flowers. You will be able to choose from a large selection of local flowers in a rainbow of colors to create your unique design.

When: Sunday, September 8th, 2024 from 3-5pm

The garden is mostly asleep after a cold week with several freezing nights. I am working on potting up all of my bulbs for winter forcing and pulling out all of the dried flowers for the first of late autumn deliveries. Even though I miss these beautiful late spring blooms, I recognize that what makes them so special is the fact that I cannot have them anytime I want, thus I will appreciate them all the more when they are blooming again. In the meantime I can appreciate the unique beauty of the season that I am in. photo:

We loved creating this vibrant broken arbor ceremony backdrop for A&H for their late September wedding. This structure was moved to the ceremony behind the sweetheart table so it could be enjoyed throughout the event.

This one was special: my baby brother married his love and I got create beautiful flowers for them! I travelled to Kansas City for this wedding and went the route or ordering flowers from a wholesaler (which was a first for me). I did manage to mail some tulips from my garden to include as well.
