Katherine Phelps, Design Virtuoso behind Vkoos Design has been turning up the creative volume in Interior Design & Floral Design for over half a decade. Katherine's Fine Art backround, BFA in Interior Architecture & Design, and charming personality truly set Vkoos Design apart from the others. Katherine has been featured as one of THE BAY AREA'S TOP DESIGNERS by Dwell Magazine and Gentry Magazine. She has also been featured in over 20 publications: California Home and Design, 7x7 Magazine, Design for Living, and Gentry magazine, just to name a few. Katherine enjoys sharing her design secrets and has lectured on several Design Discussion Panels at the SFMart, and was a Featured Designer who lectured on "Designing The Perfect Bedroom" at Jimyko Furnishings in San Jose. Katherine was also asked to decorate an entire home for The Holiday Showcase House in Los Altos Hills 2007, for the Christmas at Our House. One of her favorite projects was creating and designing a large window display named " Summer Fever " on Market St. in San Francisco. Katherine has worked for some of the most elite high end design firms in the Bay Area. She has worked as the Senior Designer/Project Manager on all sizes of projects, from decorating and accessorizing, to full scale multi-million dollar projects. Her projects have included designing and decorating her client's parties, all the way to designing brand new homes from the ground up. Katherine works with many well-recognized vendors in the Bay Area. " We all work together and have wonderful working relationships that will last a lifetime." Katherine truly enjoys and is very passionate about donating her time and talents to local organizations. Katherine is a Floral Arranger Volunteer at The Filoli Estate and Gardens which is part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Katherine has also designed tablescapes for the PYT (Peninsula Youth Theater) Hollywood Hosts Gala, and she is looking forward to designing one of the tablescapes for this year's Gala. Katherine is also donating a beautiful custom designed centerpiece for auction to the American Cancer Society Gala this year.
