I’vee been doing a daily devotional, given to me by my Earth Angel, and several readings have really impacted me, the one for June 10th I really desperately needed right now.

For the last two months or so my range of emotions has been a chasm reaching from anger to hope to total devastation. But I know through faith that “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand” (John 13:7).

GOD MEANT IT UNTO GOOD

“God meant it unto good” — O blest assurance,

Falling like sunshine all across life’s way,

Touching with Heaven’s gold, earth’s darkest storm clouds,

Bringing fresh peace and comfort day by day.

’Twas not by chance the hands of faithless brothers

Sold Joseph captive to a foreign land;

Nor was it chance that, after years of suffering,

Brought him before the pharaoh’s throne to stand.

One Eye all-seeing saw the need of thousands,

And planned to meet it through that one lone soul;

And through the weary days of prison bo***ge

Was working toward the great and glorious goal.

As yet the end was hidden from the captive,

The iron entered even to his soul;

His eye could scan the present path of sorrow,

Not yet his gaze might rest upon the whole.

Faith failed not through those long, dark days of waiting,

His trust in God was reimbursed at last,

The moment came when God led forth his servant

To comfort many, all his sufferings past.

“It was not you but God, that led me to here,”

Witnessed triumphant faith in later days;

“God meant it unto good,” no other reason

Mingled their discord with his song of praise.

“God means it unto good” for you, beloved,

The God of Joseph is the same today;

His love permits afflictions strange and bitter,

His hand is guiding through the unknown way.

Your Lord, who sees the end from the beginning,

Has purposes for you of love untold.

Then place your hand in His and follow fearless,

Till you the riches of His grace behold.

There, when you stand firm in the Home of Glory,

And all life’s path lies open to your gaze,

Your eyes will SEE the hand that you’re now trusting,

And magnify His love through endless days.

John 11:35 is the shortest scripture in the Bible and I believe it says more about the humanness of Jesus than any other. These 2 words...”Jesus Wept”, tell us that Jesus had feelings just as we do.

Jesus “cried” because he was deeply moved in the same emotional way that we are, and nothing can make him more human than that. To me, this shows that Jesus was vulnerable, sincere, and not ashamed to be genuine in every part of his human side.

To me, it brings Jesus even closer, because it tells me that Jesus truly understands every feeling I walk through, because Jesus himself was human just like me at one time, and He understands the emotional struggles we all battle with; for Jesus can “feel” every part of us.

Money can buy medicine, but it cannot buy health.

Money can buy a house, but not a home.

Money can buy companionship, but not friendship.

Money can buy entertainment, but not happiness.

Money can buy food, but not an appetite.

Money can buy a bed, but not sleep.

Money can buy a crucifix, but not a saviour.

It was another beautiful day at Camelot Meadows Event LLC!!! Mr. & Mrs. Taylor and Tess Ripepi celebrated "I DO PART DEUX!" and I had the distinct honor of officiating the ceremony. The bride was gorgeous and the groom a true gentleman! I love what I do and give God all the glory for allowing me to unite loving couples in holy matrimony, in His name.
