When brides ask this Mom of three if children in weddings is a good idea, YES, the answer is always, yes!Don't fret, I have seen it all and the good certainly outweighs all the possible madness!
Children can be such a sweet contribution to your day, and a loving gesture when they are members of your family.
Kids will be kids, but just know, I am a Mom of boys and have plenty of tricks up my sleeve to help them feel confident and excited to participate! I just can't make any promises about how their parents will handle it! haha

When I was asked to help create a reception only design around a New England elopement, my mind went wild at first!As a New England girl myself, I knew that we had to somehow incorporate the sea. When Olga & Chandler mentioned loving Oysters during their time in Maine, we of course ran with it!
I love how captured our vision perfectly, with this adorable custom seating chart.

Some of my favorite photos to find in my inbox are the ones where the plans came together, but then nature decided to add a cherry, a kiss of goodness!Lighting to die for, a breeze that gave the most perfect brush of movement, or a storm that brought sparkle. We can make plans and execute them flawlessly, but it's our natural surroundings that truly make it all magical!

I have executed over a handful of wedding days at Trump National on Lake Norman and although this space has some of the best lakeside views in our area, the clear glass doors leading into the reception space are nearly always brought up by my clients!Most people love to wow their guests with a grand room reveal in to the reception, but that's hard to do with giant clear glass leading the way, UNLESS you have a few tricks up your sleeves!

Hanging pipe and drape is just one of a few ways we can obstruct that view for guests while not taking away from the natural beauty of the existing space.

Table Numbers can really do a number on your table decor.... I KID! Sorry, I had to!But seriously, can I be honest? I am not a fan.
Unless they are small and blend with your decor, they serve a great purpose, but my goodness, they can be too much!

That brings me to slides two and three - swipe on over and check out my new table numbers!! An item that is available to ALL of my clients on wedding day!

These acrylic blocks not only blend in with ANY table design, but they are cute and modern and I think we can all agree, they DO NOT obstruct or take away the beauty of your tablescape!

Hi. I’m Sarah.

Originally from the gorgeous New England state of Vermont, I love Ben & Jerry’s, REAL Maple Syrup, and Cabot cheese on my apples! A lover of the lake, mountains and ocean, I am always up for an outdoor adventure or a quick weekend getaway.

I believe there isn’t a problem in the world that can’t be resolved with some Jesus, champagne, and sprinkles… sprinkles on soft serve or sprinkles on a donut… winners get sprinkles!

My career in events started way back in High School when I worked on the banquets staff at The Equinox, a Luxury Collection Golf Resort and Spa. Despite the long hours, I absolutely loved working weddings and cried at every maid of honor/best man speech (and still do today). I received my bachelor’s degree in Sports Entertainment and Event Management from Johnson & Wales University, Charlotte. I have gained more than 10 years of experience in the industry working for companies within the NBA, AHL, NFL, PGA, NASCAR, and the Olympics.
