Carlmont Arts Council - Celebrating 10 Years - 2019! Securing the future for performing arts with its State-of-the-Arts Theater
Carlmont Performing Arts Center, located in Belmont, CA, stands overlooking the beautiful Bay Area hills and valleys of the Peninsula. This facility, built in 2009 by taxpayer bond measure, continues to thrive and evolve with the technology and design which is the future wave of performing arts theaters everywhere. While part of a high school community heavily committed to the performing arts, this theater also provides a community gathering and presentation locale for both school and city. The Arts Council is tasked with securing the funds to support and maintain this treasure in our midst where school or school district monies fall short. The Arts Council’s goals reach far beyond each individual performing arts group, but sights itself on ensuring a home for musicals, dance shows, symphonies, and choral works for many years to come.
