❄️ WINTER WEATHER CLOSURES THIS WEEKEND ❄️
Due to the forecasted snow storms this weekend, Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden will be closed on Friday and Saturday. ☃️
The Trailhead Store will be open today, Friday, January 10, from 7 a.m.-Noon and closed for the rest of the day, so stop by early to warm up before the storm! ☕️
The Trailhead Store will be closed on Saturday, January 11, which sadly means we’ve had to cancel our first Pickin’ on the Porch performance. ☹️ But don’t worry! You can enjoy live music at the Trailhead Store from 2-4 p.m. every Saturday after (and this week’s featured performer, Alma Russ, will be rescheduled to a new date!) 🎶
Both the botanical garden and the Trailhead Store will be open as usual on Sunday, January 12:
Garden: 10AM-4PM
The Trailhead Store: 7AM-7PM

And we’re back! 🎉 We hope you had a wonderful and safe New Years celebration.
After a week of rest and rejuvenation, we’re ready for some exciting changes in 2025. We’ve already announced the expansion of our Lost Hollow Children’s Garden, but we’re also thrilled to renovate our Visitor Pavilion this winter. Due to the resulting construction, Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s Winter hours will be as follows:
Friday-Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Still seeking more outdoor adventure this winter? Our trails, dog park, and the Trailhead Store will be open 7 a.m.-7p.m., so there will be plenty of opportunities for hikes, coffee and community this winter (including the return of Pickin’ on the Porch starting next Saturday, January 11!) 🎶 🐕🥾
A couple things to keep in mind during your visit:
🛍️The Garden Store will be closed until construction is complete. It will re-open this spring with some exciting new updates!
🚧The Visitor Pavilion reception desk and lobby will be renovated as part of this project, so our team will welcome you through an alternate entrance as needed.
⏰We will be sure to keep you updated on the timing of the renovations so you can enjoy the new features as soon as they open!
These winter hours will last until construction concludes in March (exact date to be confirmed), but we’re so excited to unveil brand new opportunities to help you find your path to nature this spring. 🌿🪷🦋

‼️Important update for Holidays at the Garden tonight! ‼️
Holidays at the Garden is hosted rain or shine, so it will run as scheduled from 5-10 p.m. However, there will be no food trucks on site tonight, so make your dinner plans accordingly if you’re planning on coming out!
We wish we could convince Mother Nature to stop the rain, but this is a great night to grab your umbrella, beat the crowds, and enjoy the lights! It’s also the perfect evening to get cozy in the Green Cardinal speakeasy. 🍸

Jazz at the Garden Recap! ✨🎶
The sounds of jazz filled the air last Saturday, November 23rd, as the incredibly talented @alexbugnon on the keyboard 🎹, @live_action_kee on the drums 🥁, and @koknosh808 on the bass 🎸 took the stage and left us in awe!
Their smooth rhythms, soulful melodies, and electrifying chemistry created a night of music we’ll never forget. 🎶
From toe-tapping beats to heartfelt improvisations, the evening was a celebration of jazz at its finest!
🎶 And it wasn’t just about the music! Guests also enjoyed amazing bar service with curated drinks to keep the vibes flowing 🍸, along with local businesses on display throughout the night, adding a special touch to this incredible event!
🌟 It was a full house for this sold-out show, and we couldn’t have done it without YOU! Thank you to everyone who came out to make the night so special—you brought the energy that made it unforgettable. 💚
