Blues, rust, tan, and brown — say less.

This bouquet feels like winter in the garden, just inside where it’s warm.
Quiet, textured, and waiting for the birds to come back for seconds.

I've spent so much time thinking about how to build my Etsy page — flowers, palettes, sizes, all the options.
And then there are the customers who say, “Here are the colors… you do your thing.”
Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for getting me. Thank you for letting flowers be art, not a dropdown menu. 🤍

Really loving December so far.

Facial steamers are one of those old-school remedies that still hold up — simple, effective, and surprisingly powerful.

At their core, steamers combine warm steam + plant aromatics. When hot water hits dried herbs, natural volatile compounds are released into the steam. As you breathe it in, those compounds move through your nasal passages and sinuses, while the warmth helps open pores and soften skin.
It’s not magic — it’s botanical chemistry.

How to Use a Facial Steamer

1. Pour hot water into a heat-safe bowl

2. Add 1–2 tablespoons of steamer blend

3. Lean over the bowl with a towel over your head

4. Close your eyes and breathe deeply for 5–10 minutes

Afterward, skin often feels softer and more receptive to oils or moisturizer. Breathing may feel clearer, and your body tends to settle into a calmer state. Think support, not instant fixes.

The Steamers I Offer (and What to Expect)

🌼 Soothe — for dry or tired skin
This blend focuses on gentle, skin-loving botanicals. The steam helps boost circulation while the herbs support calm, hydrated-feeling skin. Especially helpful in winter, after wind or sun exposure, or anytime skin feels tight and dull.
Expect: softer skin, a relaxed face, and a quiet, grounding moment.

🌿 Ease — for headaches & tension
Designed for when your head feels heavy or overstimulated. Warm steam helps relax facial muscles, while the aromatics encourage deeper, slower breathing — which can make a big difference when tension starts creeping in.
Expect: pressure relief, loosened jaw and temples, and a mental reset.

🌬️ Breathe — for sinus support
Steam naturally helps loosen congestion. This blend pairs aromatic herbs with warmth to support clearer breathing — effective without the harsh menthol burn.
Expect: open airways, easier breathing, and gentle relief from dry or stuffy conditions.

This one looks quiet… until the light hits it ✨

The yarrow in this arrangement has the softest touch of gold shimmer (biodegradable, always) — just enough to catch the glow and quietly complement the ornaments on the tree nearby. Subtle, intentional, and perfectly at home this time of year.

This is exactly how I love designing florals for businesses, too. Not loud. Not overdone. Just thoughtful details that greet people the moment they walk in — the kind of arrangement that says you’re welcome here without a single word.

Flowers don’t have to shout to make an impression.
Sometimes they just set the tone.

Over the summer, I shared that I wanted to slow down and be more intentional with the flowers and herbs we grow here — not just how they look, but what they offer.

I’ve been learning, experimenting, infusing oils, and getting curious about the goodness hiding inside these plants. What supports skin, what soothes, what helps us breathe a little deeper and slow down — especially this time of year. Lots of testing, lots of notes, and plenty of quiet behind-the-scenes work.

And now, that curiosity has turned into something tangible. I’m so excited to share our new Flutter Farms self-care line — rooted in plants, made with intention, and created for simple, everyday rituals.

These will be available this weekend. I haven't figured out all the ways I'll be able to offer this but if you can't make it to the stand and want some for yourself, just reach out and I'll put some aside.

I can't wait to share these with you :)

I hit a milestone today...or maybe just the beginning of something new. I received my first Etsy order and it was a custom design for blues, creams, whites, and a touch of lavender.

Wish me luck friends.

There’s something about the parts of life that don’t go as planned — the chaos, the noise, the unexpected left turns. They end up shaping us in ways the neat, predictable moments never could.

Flowers feel the same to me. They twist, lean, and grow into their own personalities, and I design by letting that happen. Not controlling every inch — just guiding the wild into something meaningful.

It’s the natural, untamed moments that make life beautiful.
