New year, new blooms! Here’s what’s on my January farmer-florist to-do list:

🌱 Start seeds for early spring annuals (hello, future blooms!)
🌸 Prep low tunnels for anemones & ranunculus (the divas of the flower world!)
✨ Tackle dried flower inventory—wreath season got wild!
💍 Dream up wedding floral inspo and send out contracts. (Now’s the PERFECT time to book your 2025 wedding florals! Let’s grow something just for you )

I'm choosing to take on the new year the way nature does...nice and slow. I'll continue to rest for a bit, recover and reflect, fully knowing this year will be the busiest I've ever been, with more growth and opportunity than ever before.

Winter is when the garden takes a nap, but my planning wheels are turning! December is perfect for reflecting on what worked, what didn’t, and what deserves more space next year—like yarrow.

In the garden, yarrow isn’t the star of the show, but it’s the ultimate supporting character. Its delicate blooms are perfect bouquet fillers, but here’s the secret: it’s also a garden workhorse. Wherever yarrow thrives, the soil seems healthier, the plants happier, and the insects busier. Coincidence? I think not.
