I love packing orders like this.
No explanation. No justification.
Just someone deciding they’re worth the time it takes to feel a little better.

When this is what your Monday looks like, it brings on energy, confidence, and the occasional happy dance.

This beauty is headed to the front desk to greet customers and give them the same vibes. If you want to spread this feeling, I'd be happy to help.

This bouquet didn’t happen fast.
Each stem was grown, harvested, dried, and saved for this moment.
Dried florals aren’t leftovers — they’re intentional.

Every. Single. One.

This is what my winter garden looks like when I leave it for the birds.
Seeds for food. Stems for shelter.
A reminder that doing less is sometimes the most supportive thing you can do.

Six jars at a time.

Petal Polish takes flowers beyond the vase and into everyday ritual.
Blended in small batches, with real flowers, nourishing oils, and zero shortcuts.

What makes me happy?
Walking away from the Sunday night dread.
From the security of a 9–5 that didn’t fit anymore.
From the fear of looking back one day and wishing I’d tried.
Choosing this life wasn’t some dreamy leap into endless sunshine. It’s been hard, uncertain, and humbling more times than I can count.
But it’s mine.
And I’d choose it again — every single time.

Behind the scenes, bringing a bouquet together one stem at a time.

This part is slow and thoughtful; balancing shape, texture, and movement and letting the flowers lead the way. It’s quiet work, but it’s where everything really comes together.

One of my favorite moments in the process. 🌾

My favorite kind of plans...

The first planting of the year is Ranunculus.

Soak dry claws for 4-12 hours until they are plump.
Nestle them into barely damp soil or peat moss.
Cover and stash somewhere cool & dark (40–50°F).
Wait 10–14 days for roots and a small sprout to show.

Why we do it:
Because Midwest weather is not a spring flower’s friend.
Pre-sprouting gives ranunculus a head start, which means: ✔️ Faster growth
✔️ Stronger stems
✔️ More blooms before temps hit 70° and they say goodbye.
It’s less extra work than losing half your plants to a surprise heat wave.
Save this — your ranunculus will thank you. 🌸

Last night was full sensory overload.

The kids were in full chaos mode.
It was witching hour.
I’d been trying to get everyone ready for bed for a solid hour.

At some point, I stopped trying to fix anything and reached for my Forest Blend.
I took a few slow breaths and rubbed it on my chest, shoulders, neck… finished at my temples.

It didn’t help anyone brush their teeth.
But it did help me keep my cool.

That’s what this one is for — not eliminating the chaos, just helping you breathe through it.

Gentle. Plant-based.
Safe for everyday use, even in the loud, messy moments.

Sometimes the win is staying calm long enough to get everyone to bed. 🌿

There’s something about this time of year that puts you in a dreaming kind of mood.

Thinking ahead to the field, the growing season, and all the moments that come with it. Even when things feel quiet, there’s always something building toward what’s next.

Spring will be here before we know it. 🌷

✨ Behind the scenes ✨

This is one of my favorite moments in the process. Each stem is harvested at just the right time, then dried slowly so it keeps its color, texture, and character.

Nothing here is rushed. Just real flowers, grown in season and preserved the old-fashioned way so they can live on long after the garden has gone to sleep.

These blooms will eventually become wreaths, arrangements, and wedding florals, but for now, they’re in this in-between stage, where the magic really happens.

I love sharing this part with you. 💛
