The trip to School of Santa in Branson was well worth it. I had a wonderful time learning from all the presentations. Lee Andrews has a wonderful way of describing his Santa character and teaching at the same time. He can keep the group in laughter when appropriate. Being able to renew wedding vows with my best-friend Lorrie was extremely delightful. Special note our 48th anniversary is less than a week away. Being there with my son William who will soon begin his adventures as Santa was also special. Then there was the door decoration contest in which we won. I found three other professional Santas there all 4 of us attended the same junior high school in Mesquite, Texas. I learned from one of them Bob McMasters that there are 4 others for a total of 8 Santas. Way to go Mesquite. After school was completed Lorrie, William, and I spent a day at Silver Dollar City. I had better not forget a very special gift from Cherry Hill Programs. I cannot tell you how special this is for me. I have been awarded a scholarship for another Santa school in February. Yes, it is true I will be going to North Pole Cornerstone in Oklahoma City come February. I can hardly wait. Thanks Cherry Hill Programs. Spangle put together a fantastic school looking forward to returning next July.
