(22)

The business principles of Tirzah are founded on a poetic love story in the Bible’s Old Testament known as Song of Solomon, also referenced as the Song of Songs meaning the greatest of all songs. Literally, the book is a romantic depiction of marriage; however symbolically, it is a beautiful representation of Christ and His church. This enchanting collection of love poems is between a man and a wo

man celebrating the relationship that God intended for marriage; it begins with the courtship, a wedding, and the maturing marriage. The biblical poet portrays marriage to be celebrated, enjoyed, and revered; the marriage is a model of care, commitment, and delight. The journey begins in Chapter 1 with the Bride confessing her love … “Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth! For your love is better than wine.” The Groom delights in her beauty, “Behold, you are beautiful, my love; your eyes are doves.” Their love is blossoming in Chapter 3 when she affirms that she has “found the one whom her soul loves.” In Chapter 4, he admires the beauty of his Bride, and says, “My bride; you have captivated my heart with one glance of your eyes.”

Their love continues in Chapter 6 as they are together in the picturesque garden. She tells him, “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” He passionately responds with “Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah.” In the 8th chapter, the last chapter, final advice is provided in that “Many waters cannot quench love!”

Autumn Madetzke had a beautiful Graduation celebration from Belton High School at Tirzah. For Autumn’s next chapter, she will be attending Texas State in Nursing.

Autumn did not want the traditional school colors for her celebration. She wanted something “girlie” so the color scheme was pink and white. Everything looked so pretty with the pink chandelier candelabra centerpiece, pink satin chair sashes, and floral table runners accented with pink votives. Everyone came dressed in pink too. 💕

After seeing the decorated venue for her special celebration, Autumn exclaimed, “I love it! I am so excited!!” This made my heart so happy. 🥰

Refreshments included beef and chicken burritos with chips and salsa. For dessert, everyone enjoyed assorted flavors of bundtinis.

We wish Autumn all the best as she starts her next chapter. May her choices reflect her hopes and not her fears! ✨💖✨

Happy National Ice Cream Day!🍦

National Ice Cream Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in July in the United States.

Ice Cream for two makes a great date! 💕🍧

Vanilla is America's favorite flavor for a reason ... it is simple, and it goes with everything.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? Mine is Dark Chocolate with Almonds. 😋

Life is like ice cream, enjoy it before it melts!

Cheers to the Cheshire’s! ♥️

As Cheshire Cat said, “Every adventure requires a first step.” Rachel Thomas is taking a step into “Rachel’s Wonderland” … her greatest adventure! A magical Bridal Shower was held at Tirzah in her honor. The theme was “Alice in Wonderland’s Tea Party,” and it was adorable. ♥️♠️♦️♣️

The tablecloths had a grass impression with a black and white runner surrounded by red roses. The placements were giant playing cards. A fun activity at the shower was painting wine glasses and coasters. There was a digital Photo Booth to capture treasured memories with the most enchanting backdrop where one can spy a whimsical Wonderland and lovely garden through a keyhole.

We wish this beautiful Bride much love, laughter, and happily ever after!! ✨💖✨

A Sweet Ending To A New Beginning! 🎓💕

Lucy Lewis had a beautiful Graduation celebration from Temple High School at Tirzah. Lucy was a cheerleader for Temple High. She enjoyed cheer even as a little Wildcat. Lucy will continue her education at Temple College and studying in the field of Ultrasound.

The colors of the celebration were shades of pink, chrome gold, rose gold, rosewood, cameo, white, and neutral colors. Decorations included burlap, wood slices, and fresh flowers with carnations, spray roses, baby’s breath, and silver dollar eucalyptus.

A delicious meal was served that consisted of brisket, baked beans, potato salad, cupcakes, and more!

A 5-Star review was left on Yelp by Lucy’s mom, Heather Lewis, after the celebration. It made my heart so happy, and I greatly appreciate the sweet words …. “What a beautiful venue this was! Sarah Hill with Honey Weddings and Events found this super cute vintage vibe event space for my daughter's graduation party, & we wouldn't be happier. Diana, the proprietor, was so helpful & made everything so easy. They’ve got two floors & a patio with gorgeous tall ceilings & chandeliers. We had a photo booth set up in the back shaded courtyard, which made it a popular hangout spot for everyone at one point. Diana has lots of decor & supplies up in her attic you can use for free! There was even parking across the street. My daughter was thrilled, & everyone had a great time!” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We wish Lucy all the best as she embarks on the next journey of her life. As she goes forward, may she have the courage to follow her heart! ✨💖✨

All of your dreams can come true if you have the courage to pursue them! 🎓

Anna Grace Gainey had a beautiful Graduation Celebration from Belton High School at Tirzah. For Anna’s next chapter, she will be attending Baylor University. Anna is very talented in singing, and she was in her high school’s musical. Anna received a music scholarship and will pursue singing at Baylor.

The colors of the celebration were Anna’s high school colors, red and white, with a hint of her future college colors, green and gold. The tablescape looked very elegant accompanied with red and white chair sashes. A Big Red tradition is for the senior girls to wear Homecoming Overalls that are decorated, and Anna’s cute overalls were on display. Her graduation gown with honor cords and homecoming mum were on display too.

Refreshments included Italian food, cake, cookies, and a cute Popcorn Bar. What seasoning would you choose on your popcorn … butter, caramel, ranch, or cheesy jalapeño? 🍿

There was Karaoke in the Courtyard. Anna’s family dog, Sunday, joined in the celebration too. 🐕

We wish Anna all the best as she starts her next chapter. May her choices reflect her hopes and not her fears! ✨✨✨

A Little Butterfly Is On Her Way! 🦋💜

Tiffany Finley had a beautiful Baby Shower at Tirzah to welcome a baby girl that will be named Amira Rayne. The dad-to-be came up with Amira which means “Princess.”

The colors of the celebration were purple, white, and gold with a Butterfly theme. Tiny baby bottles were scattered on the tables like confetti.

Refreshments were served that included chicken salad sandwiches made from an old family recipe, and ham and turkey sandwiches. An adorable watermelon shaped into a baby carriage was filled with a variety of fresh fruit on a fruit tray. There were cupcakes, cake, and punch too.

Fun games were played such as Don’t Say Baby or Amira, Name That Song Baby, Baby Bump Game, Pin the Pacifier on the Baby, and My Water Broke with Ice Cubes and Baby.

Party Favors were given to guests consisting of mints in pretty purple butterfly boxes that were at the place settings.

A 5-Star review was left on Yelp after the celebration, and it made my heart so happy. I greatly appreciate the sweet words …. “We held my daughter-in-law’s baby shower here. They were absolutely wonderful and so generous. They gave us plenty of decorations to choose from in addition to our own decorations. That way, we could have the best experience there! Highly recommend, and the venue is gorgeous!” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We wish this sweet family many blessings. ✨💜✨

Happy 1st Anniversary! ♥️

Love each other as I have loved you.
John 15:12

Danielle “Danny” A. Maldonado Melendez and Sarai Rosado Torres had a beautiful Wedding at Tirzah on a warm sunny yet pleasantly breezy day. The Ceremony was held in the Courtyard under a beautiful macrame arch. The theme for their special celebration was Vintage Boho, and the colors were ivory, dusty rose, and forrest green.

There was so much beauty and love in this Wedding. Family flew in from all over including Puerto Rico. The Couple is originally from Puerto Rico. The Couple moved to Texas after Hurricane Maria caused much devastation to the island. On June 24, 2017, Danny and Sarai decide to start dating, and then on June 24, 2023, they decide to be together for the rest of their life.

The Bride looked very beautiful in a white laced dress, and the Groom looked very dapper in brown slacks with a white shirt, bow tie, and suspenders. Their daughter wore their Wedding rings as she walked down the aisle, and the Groom’s brother danced down the aisle tossing flowers. The Bride walked down the aisle to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri and Steve Kazee. The Bible Verse for the Ceremony was 1 Corinthians 13 … Love is patient, love is kind … Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends! After the Nuptials, bubbles were blown by guests for the new Mr. and Mrs. 🫧

A highlight of the event was a live wedding artist, Elaine Fish, painted an enchanting scene of the Couple’s 1st Kiss. This watercolor painting is a treasure of a magical memory!

For refreshments, there were individual charcuterie cups for guests to enjoy while the Couple took pictures. Before the delicious meal was served, Danny’s brother gave a heartfelt blessing. The meal included pork loin with mushroom sauce, buttered potatoes, and asparagus. Their Wedding Cake was three-tiered with almond and pistachio flavor which was made by the Bride.

During the Reception, there was much singing and dancing. The Bride’s father sang; he is a maestro. The Couple danced their first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Italian singer Andrea Bocelli and Katharine McPhee.

The Couple had a Bouquet and Garter Toss during the Reception. They also played a fun game Guess Who - Bride or Groom. Here are their answers …

Who said I love you first? Danny
Who is the better cook? Sarai
Who has better dance moves? Sarai
Who wakes up earlier? Sarai
Who is more spontaneous? Danny
Who has a cleaner car? Danny
Who is more romantic? Danny
Who initiated the first kiss? Danny
Who is more competitive? Both
Who owns more shoes? Danny
Who is the better planner? Sarai, but Danny comes up with ideas.
Who takes longer showers? Danny

For their Honeymoon, the Couple explored the picturesque Hill Country scenery of Fredericksburg.

The Couple’s celebration was filled with many magical moments to cherish. As they were leaving, the Groom said that he “knew everything would be wonderful, but it was even better than he imagined.” 🥰

We wish this sweet Couple much love, laughter, and happily ever after! ✨💖✨

Happy 1st Anniversary! 💛

Sweetest of the Sunflowers,
How you’re the Sun to me! 🌻

Tom Sauceda and Briana Costilla had a beautiful Wedding at Tirzah! They met in the school cafeteria, became best friends, and their relationship blossomed into something more. The Groom told his Bride, “From the moment I met you eight years ago, I knew you were the one for me.”

The theme for the special celebration was Sunflowers. The Bride wore her mother’s Wedding band, and the Couple toasted with the toasting glasses that her parents toasted with at their Wedding. The Bride walked down the aisle by herself to the song “A Moment Like This” by Kelly Clarkson.

Unity Ceremonies are symbols of love and commitment. The Couple incorporated two Unity Traditions. A Wedding Rosary Lasso was placed around the Bride and Groom’s shoulders to resemble the infinity symbol which is a nod to the infinite nature of their bond in the eyes of their friends, family, and God. A Bible and Cross were presented to the Couple by the Bride’s mom. The lasso remained on as they said their personal vows until they had their first kiss as husband and wife. The Couple also included a Unity Candle Ceremony which symbolizes the two individuals coming from separate families and becoming one in Marriage. May the brightness of the light shine throughout their lives! ✨✨✨

The Bride and Groom danced their first dance to Sueña by Intocable. At the end of the song, the Couple gave each other double high fives and then kissed.

Refreshments were served that included pulled chicken, pulled pork, baked beans, pasta salad, potato salad, cole slaw, pinwheels, and Traditional Mexican Wedding cookies. Their three-layered Wedding cake was banana on the bottom layer, pineapple in the middle, and vanilla was the top layer.

For their Honeymoon, they travelled to Galveston Island, a coastal jewel with historical architecture, closer to the Bride’s birthday the following month.

We wish this sweet couple much love, laughter, and happily ever after!! ✨💛✨

So tiny, so small, so loved by all...

Ashleigh Elliott and Chad Herring had a beautiful Baby Shower at Tirzah to welcome a baby girl that will be named Elliott Josephine, and for short, she will be called Ellie Jo. Elliott is Ashleigh’s maiden name.

The two met in California and have been dating for 13 years. Ashleigh moved to this area, and then Chad was able to transfer with his company to this area too. God had a handprint in their relationship!

The Baby Shower was a whimsical butterfly theme with colors of lilac, pastel pink, sage green, and white. There were large floral centerpieces of cool water roses, peonies, stock, carnations, and baby’s breath. The tablescape was enhanced with fresh dainty flowers in bud vases including baby roses, daisies, lavender, eucalyptus, and more. 🌸🌼

A cascading waterfall balloon arch with butterflies fluttering about made a stunning backdrop for photos and opening gifts. 🦋

Refreshments were served that included Mexican food with chicken and beef fajitas, rice, beans, chips, and salsa. There was an awesome charcuterie display with letters that spelled ELLIE. I love the details with the watermelon cut in butterfly cookie cutter shapes.

Fun games were played that included Guess the Arrival of Baby Elliott, Midnight Messages written on diapers, Bottle Chug, and to help with “Booty Duty,” they had a Diaper Raffle.

Party favors were given to guests thanking them for coming of Prosecco Rose Sparking Wine with a note that read “Pop this open and say a cheer when you hear Baby Elliott is finally here!” 🥂

We wish this sweet family many blessings. ✨💖✨

All of your dreams can come true if you have the courage to follow them! 🎓

Madison Elaine Stevens “Maddie” had a beautiful Graduation celebration from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at Tirzah.

Maddie was a COVID graduate in 2020 from high school so part of the celebration included memories from Central High School.

The colors of the celebration was maroon for A&M plus a touch of orange and blue for her high school colors.

One window display contained childhood memories. Her family brought toys from Maddie’s childhood. She loved to play with animals, and she would line them up or make herds with them. If they ever left the house, she would always have an animal in her hand. She loved to watch Dora the Explorer, and they brought her tray when she would watch Dora and have a snack. They even brought her horse blanket from when she was little.

Maddie’s school accolades were in the other window display. She was in the National Honor Society and on the high school swimming team and had many honors.

Large burgundy and white flowers with eucalyptus and an Aggies banner made a beautiful backdrop for photos. There was a Polaroid Photo Guest Book for guests to write notes of encouragement or advice. Succulent Party Favors were given to guests with a Graduation photo of Maddie and a note that said, “Thanks for celebrating with me.”

Refreshments included an assortment of sandwiches, fruit, vegetables, cookies, cupcakes, and more. There was good old-fashioned IBC soda since 1919 including root beer, cream soda, and black cherry too.

We wish Maddie all the best as she embarks on the next journey of her life. May her choices reflect her hopes and not her fears! ✨✨✨

A Single Letter Makes A Huge Difference! 💕

Today is National Macaroon Day. There is a difference between macaroon and macaron. Both have an Italian origin that made their way to France.

The macaroon is a mound of sweet, shredded coconut … “I swoon over a macaroon!” The macaron is a sandwich cookie with three layers (cookie, filling, cookie) that are smooth, colorful, fancy, and delicate … “Oh, this macaron is delicious!” 🩷💖🩷

Missing Man Table! ♥️

This Table, it is Small – set for one, symbolizing the vulnerability of one prisoner alone against his oppressors.

The Table is Round – to show our everlasting concern for our missing men.

The Table Cloth is White – symbolizing the purity of their intentions to respond to the nation’s call to arms.

The Place Setting – single, alone no friends or family to dine with.

The Chair is Empty – for they are not here.

The Glass is Inverted – they cannot toast with us this night.

The Single Red Rose – displayed in the vase reminds us of the life of each of the missing, and the loved ones, friends, and comrades of these Americans who keep the faith, awaiting answers.

The Red Ribbon – symbol of our determination to account for our missing.

A Slice of Lemon – reminding us of their bitter fate.

Salt Sprinkled – representing the countless fallen tears of families as they wait.

The Candle – reminiscent of everlasting hope which lives in our hearts to light the way home; from their captors to the open arms of a grateful nation.

The Bible – represents the strength gained through faith to sustain those lost from us, from our country, founded as one nation under God.

Let us pray to the Supreme Commandant that all our brothers will soon again be among our ranks.

Happy 1st Anniversary! ♥️

“Take my hand, Take my whole life too
For I can"t help falling in love with you!” 🎶

Ethan Smith and Lexy Navarro had a beautiful Wedding at Tirzah! The couple met in high school in Lampasas, but they did not get together until they started working together at Putters and Gutters.

The Ceremony was held in the Courtyard. It was a sunny day with a gentle breeze. The colors of the celebration were white, sea green, sand, and gold. After decorating, the Bride said, “I love this!” 💕

Lexy’s dad had the honor of walking her down the aisle to the song, “Can't Help Falling in Love” by Kina Grannis. The Groom got a tear in his eye as soon as his Bride walked through the door. During their vows, the Bride had a tear as well. Beautiful words were said such as “Love can build bridges and climb mountains.” The Bible Verse for the Ceremony was Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, “Two are better than one for if they fall, one will lift up the other.”

The Couple had a Sand Ceremony that included their son, Jack, as well. It was a symbolic blending of their family with different colored sands into a single vessel. Once the sand is combined, it is difficult to separate the sands back to their original states. “Together We Make a Family.”

After the Nuptials, the Couple took pictures in the beautiful garden area with lush greenery that looked like a fairytale. After photos, the Couple made their grand entrance to the Reception with the song “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran.

There was a plethora of food to choose from, and it was all delicious. Brisket was served, and the family shared in the love and brought side dishes. There was potato salad, cole slaw, and more.

I was amazed by the beautiful toasts by friends and family. They shared messages of love, marriage advice, and to “always put God first, and you will be blessed.”

After toasts, the Bride and Groom cut the cake, the Groom retrieved the Garter which brought a lot of laughter and cheers, and then they had their 1st Dance to “The Night We Met” by Lord Huron. Then the Bride had a Father-Daughter dance to “My Girl.” 🎶

We wish this sweet couple much love, laughter, and happily ever after!! ✨💖✨
