MOVIE NIGHT IS BACK!!!!! Join us for our FREE family movie night on Friday, January 17th! We will feature CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS!

Movie Night is held at the Community Building Complex of Boone County, 111 W. 1st Street. Doors open at 6 pm and the movie begins at 6:30 pm. Open to all ages....this is not just for children! FREE popcorn, ice cream sandwich and a bottle of water! You are welcome to bring your own soft drinks as well. There is plenty of theatre style seating or bring a blanket for the floor. Today is a sad day for not only Belvidere and Boone County but the Community Building Complex of Boone County as well as we have lost Ron Wait. Ron was very instrumental in the inception of the Community Building as it is today and was a sitting member of the board to this day. His community, our community, was his passion each and every day. We should all strive to have that same passion and have it in the way that Ron did. The staff and board at the Community Building cannot thank him enough for all he has given to our community. Personally I need to thank him for his friendship, his guidance and for sharing his knowledge about the building, about our community and about his life with me. I feel honored to have known him and to have called him my friend. He is certainly leaving a hole in our community that will never be filled.
Our deepest sympathies are sent to his family and all who knew him.

Don't forget that tomorrow Friday, December 13th Helping Hands Network of Boone County presents A Musical Christmas Concert featuring Dan Holmes will be held at the Community Building. Doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 7 pm. $5 entrance fee paid at the door (no advance tickets) as well as you are encouraged to bring an unwrapped gift to donate to Toys For Tots! This is a wonderful evening and sure to put you in the holiday spirit!

Be sure to visit the Community Building Complex of Boone County on Friday, December 6th to see the beautifully decorated trees as well as to visit the Ms. Claus Market (vendor fair) in the lower level. County Line Grange will also be in the lower level providing an assortment of food!
