One of my favorite traditions ever- for each yearly photo session I wander around the farm with each of the girls individually for 15 minutes or so and we chat about all the things. They each pick their favorite spots in grandma's yard where they want to take photos. They're old enough now to basically be pros! At different times they were the ones saying "look at that sparkly sunshine over there!" and we'd chase that golden light together! The best part is hearing them talk about their summer, school, all the fun cousin time in MN...such a treasured and precious honor to watch them grow up. 💕

Every summer I look forward to seeing one of my dearest childhood friends and her girls when they visit MN, and every summer somehow we get magical shots at their grandparents' magical farm. Well, this year we got some (less magical) wildfire smoke, but the haze in photos works its own magic. Actually, it's their radiant selves bringing the magic, let's be real. How many times can I use that word in one post? Hahaha I looooooooove these beautiful people so much!

Being a mom of young adults myself, I sometimes get a bit weepy about making sure we get a portrait with each of their moms...such a special moment. Their whole bridal party was a blast and so all-around lovely!
