Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional support. This role involves assisting customers in their shopping experience, managing sales transactions, and maintaining a positive store environment.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
Operate cash registers, process transactions accurately, and handle cash with care.
Maintain the sales floor by organizing merchandise, restocking shelves, and ensuring a clean shopping environment.
Engage with customers to promote sales and upsell products effectively.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Ability to learn and work as a team.
Utilize basic math skills to calculate totals, change, and discounts accurately.
Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual skills are a plus.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating cash registers is beneficial.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
