Day 2 dawned to California's brightest blue skies 🌴☀️and we were treated to a master class in all things destination weddings from and . These powerhouse women have worked across the globe and so eloquently shared their wisdom and experience. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​After making our very own custom olive oil (when in Rome!) and lunch al fresco we gathered for our afternoon session round table style. A truly intimate experience, sharing questions and ideas, encouragement and solidifying relationships....it was truly my favorite time.🧡

A quick shopping trip in town, catch up with old friends over a cocktail and then gathering as a group for dinner again. The conversations were long and deep...it felt just like it looks.💗

It's hard to believe a few weeks have passed since this magical few days! A bit nostalgic too having spent so many summers at my Aunt & Uncle's ranch a few miles down the road. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Day 1 we were greeted at the charming and sophisticated Mattei's Tavern in Los Olivos. The setting is so beautifully curated, the rooms are spacious and gorgeous. Of course our hosts had the most delightful gifts waiting in our rooms with all the branded materials meticulously crafted by the queen ! New friends were made over a spectacular dinner of paella, cooked right outside the door.

This intimate affair was truly one of our favorites to design and plan. Megan and Matt are that couple with super cool, effortless style that you’re always jealous of. They knew what they wanted from the beginning for their wedding weekend and they stayed laser focused on it—gathering their loved ones and showing off their new home town. We looked at a number of venues together, but it was love at first sight when we arrived at Ranch at the Canyons. The vistas and old world elegance here allowed us to curate a warm and sophisticated celebration that was so reflective of the bride and groom’s personalities.

Oh, and whenever we can bring along for the ride, we’re guaranteed dreamy, stylish photos.

It's hard to adequately describe our feelings for these two and their amazing families....we'll just say this....when the bride's cousin covertly called us just after these two met to inquire about availability for a wedding the following year, "just in case", we knew that this would not only be one to remember, but that it was a family we wanted to be a part of!
