Just 25 miles east of the Denver Tech Center, Cottonwood Glen is Colorado's premier outdoor venue.
Cottonwood Glen at Kiowa Creek was founded in 2015 with an extensive large event background from Kiowa Creek Sporting Club's 20+ years of business. We take pride in being your venue and always strive to give you and your guests the best experience we possibly can. Cottonwood Glen provides a multitude of areas for events, mostly outdoor, and can accommodate groups of all sizes! Our main venue is a
custom crafted grand patio complete with an impressive hearth, framed with professionally designed landscape and accented with a pergola covering a portion of the space. Opening up to a spacious events lawn, this space lends itself nicely for all types of activities or is ideal for a tent to be set directly adjacent to the patio area. The venue is peppered with trails and other natural areas for your guests. The second main space is a ceremony area set amidst a grove of cottonwood trees that can be accessed by walking or guests may be transferred in hay wagons, carriages and more! Two amphitheaters are set within the natural rolling hills at the front of the property connected with a thin path and accented with a small pond. These unique auditorium style settings are designed in grand, stone multi-levels settings that are unique for all types of meetings, displays and presentations. Wildlife can be seen all over the property welcoming guests to the richness Colorado naturally delivers.

Weddings are some of our favorite events that we host in our gorgeous Pavilion, but corporate groups are also a huge part of Cottonwood Glen and Kiowa Creek Sporting Club!!
Our club can host corporate groups that range in size from 20 people to 350 guests. We offer catering services, can provide bartending contacts, and have a roomy set-up for everyone of all skill levels to shoot on our sporting clays course.

The Glen is a dedicated ceremony space set below the main venue. The winding path is naturally lined with native grasses directing all guests into the meadow.
Here guests will be warmly welcomed with a shaded seating area under a grove of cottonwood trees. The oversized flagstone path creates a pathway to a naturally framed alter which is enhanced by our handcrafted church window ceremony backdrop.

With illuminating recess lighting, stunning wooden arches, high ceilings, a glowing fireplace, and so much more, our Pavilion is the perfect place to let your dreams run wild. You can craft the perfect event with any arrangement, colors, and textures that you like.

The days of matching bridesmaid dresses are over!! Mix-matched colors and styles are trending, specifically changing up lengths.
Interestingly enough, white bridesmaid dresses are also in right now, along with royal blue.
Florals and different patterns are making their way into the wedding scene, too, so there are infinite options to choose from!!

We’ve done a little research to bring you all things for the 2022 Wedding Season!!
For dresses, we’re seeing a lot more use of color and out-of-the-box styles, namely with the usage of puffy sleeves and corsets.
Dark themes are also trending, with rust color palettes being most popular. Apparently Bridgerton had some influence this year, because evergreen fog and soft blue are also very in, namely seen in regal themes.

Meet our main Event Coordinator, Katie!! As daughter to the owners of Kiowa Creek Sporting Club, Katie has been with the club her whole life, but officially started working full time as our event coordinator in May 2015, just two days after college graduation!
Katie loves that she and her husband, Daniel, are raising their kids in the same family-oriented environment she grew up in. She believes that the relationships formed with the customers here are incredibly unique not only because some of our customers have watched her grow up, but also because Kiowa Creek and Cottonwood Glen both allow profound bonds to be created amongst everyone who comes here.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys making charcuterie boards (that are absolutely delicious), volunteering at school and church, and organizing everything in sight! She is very passionate about not only the work that she does here, but also about prioritizing family and meaningful connections, which shows in the incredible impact she continues to have here.
Katie recommends booking your event sooner rather than later, especially for weddings or corporate shoots as preferred dates can book up fast. We are always here as a resource to you for whatever type of event you’re wanting to have.

Imagine planning your dream wedding when all of a sudden, mere months before your big day, the venue closes its doors. This is the story of how Cottonwood Glen at Kiowa Creek came to be. The bride and her family realized that the best way to create the wedding of her dreams was to build the venue of her dreams. As a labor of love, family and friends pulled together what seemed impossible and built a venue that is quickly becoming Colorado’s premier wedding locale. Truly, the venue that love built!
The creation of Cottonwood Glen at Kiowa Creek included everything from demolition to general construction and landscaping. The ceremony site, where the venue gets its name, is tucked away in a lush, cottonwood lined meadow. The clearing is surrounded by native grasses and features a winding flagstone aisle leading the way to the altar. Tall, swaying cottonwood trees envelop the ceremony site to create an intimate outdoor chapel. An Amish craftsman constructed the custom twelve-foot tall cathedral window frames used as an altar backdrop and give the space the feel of a sanctuary.
Our first wedding took place in July of 2015. After the ceremony, guests transitioned from The Glen to the Grand Patio to enjoy beverages and hours d’oeuvres. The combination of wooden tables and chairs, romantic florals, ferns, fruits, and soft candlelight gave this outdoor room an ambiance that was both elegant and naturalist.
The bride and groom cut their cake and accompanied their guests out onto the checkerboard dance floor. They danced the night away under old-fashioned market lights and heavenly stars above. As the evening drew to a close, family and friends lined the sweeping stone staircase and created an archway with giant sparklers to bid the happy couple adieu.
Our family came together to create this beautiful venue. We enjoy sharing it with every new family that comes our way. We’re so blessed to be a part of each couple’s special day. The magnitude of their trust in us is never lost.
