The Sweetest Review from the Sweetest Bride

aside from the beauty of the space itself and the important budget details, my favorite part of The Blue Dress Barn was its management. There was no question too big or too small and no time of day too early or late for me to send an email to Amelia, owner the Blue Dress Barn's owner. Amelia always got back to me within twenty four hours and often much much sooner: usually within the hour. I tried my best to ask questions related to the booking only. But she was also very generous with local vendor recommendations and even nice places to eat on the day we took our tour. I tried hard throughout this process to recognize that people in the wedding industry are dealing daily with stressed out clients who may be planning a huge event for the first time in their lives. At the height of the stress, it can be hard to remember that your wedding is one of many weddings your vendor/venue is managing. But Amelia takes everything in stride. Whether it was answering questions, helping solve problems, providing frank answers about heat/cold/rain and other weather related contingency plans or giving out gentle bits of requested advice... she was just absolutely on top of it all. Her fast, accurate and personal responses really cut down on my anxiety and let me believe that she was truly invested in the success of the whole day.
