I'm back from a fabulous trip home! I've soaked in all the goodness of family love, children and Thanksgiving. I'm so very grateful for all the connections in my life. I'm truly blessed. Really.

I took the opportunity to bring home a fabulous pizza from my old hood. LaVilla has the best pizza. It brings back so many memories. Next trip, Joe's pizza!

I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving! I thank each and everyone that came in for the Thanksgiving Mini Market. I was so very pleased to see everyone! It made my soul happy. And a happy soul is, well, what life is made for, right? Thanks for everything. ❤️

Jan of 'Homemade with Love' will be featuring her hand crafted cards at Kelli's Place on Tuesday November 26th 7:30- noon.

Her cards are wonderfully made and would certainly be a lovely addition to any hostess gift! Or to show those you love a bit 'extra.'

Kelli of Kelli's Place will be featuring the following items:
🫐 Blueberry Mascarpone Stuffed French Toast Casserole ~ this starts with sweetened Mascarpone cheese and fresh blueberries that is Stuffed into French bread and bathed in a sweetened cinnamon egg custard. This will be frozen and comes with baking instructions. Serves 12. $50
🧁 Cupcake sized cheesecakes- Turtle and Raspberry available. 1/2 dozen $21, dozen $42.
🍰 4" Cheesecakes- Blueberry, Butterfinger and Peanut Butter Cup $15 each
🎃 9" Pumpkin Pie~ a homemade pumpkin custard in a homemade flakey crust decorated with spice sugar cookies. $38.

Recently I had the pleasure of creating a private dinner for some extraordinary women.
The ladies were all gems! Such a pleasure being in their company. 🥰
The dinner they chose was filled with healthy beautiful food and the desserts were certainly a treat.
Pictured is a made from scratch Mushroom-pecan pate and one of my signature salads served with homemade blue cheese dressing and a vinaigrette. 😋😋

While on vacation in Arizona we were driving into Ash Fork when I noticed a road side stand selling tamales and Mexican hot chocolate.

"OH tamales!"
"Should I turn around?"
"YES!!"

The tamales were excellent!! 🫔🫔🫔 😋😋
Best use of a U-turn that day!
While I wasn't fond of the hot chocolate, I'm super glad I tried it. Expand my horizons, ya know...

I love culinary diversity and eating local whenever I go is truly a treat for me.

When she asked "Spicy?" I answered sure!
I didn't know what that meant but found out it was a bag of Spicy homemade Pico served on the side along with the shredded cabbage.

My only regret was that I didn't buy her little stand clean out that day.

Are you adventuresome when it comes to trying new foods in new places??? If so, what's some of your most memorable experiences ?
