😋New Years Eve goodies at Kelli's Place!! 😋

Oh where did 2024 go?? It flew by so quickly!!
As we bring this year to a close and bring in a new calendar year, I'd like to extend a very heartfelt Thank You to all of you. 🥰 Your support is so very much appreciated by me! I'm blessed with getting to know so many new people and enrich existing friendships as well.

For New Years Eve I'm featuring a little for everyone- whether you will be watching the ball drop from your couch or going out all night long. 🥂
🎉 A decadent 4" Chocolate Cheesecake topped with whipped cream, chocolate stars and NYE sprinkles. $15 (can be ordered gf)
🎉 A Tiramisu for a small gathering. Espresso/rum dipped ladyfingers layered between rum infused whipped Mascarpone cheese lighted by sweetened whipped cream. Dusted with cocoa. $20
🎉 Breakfast Lasagna! This was a requested item- fit for New Years Morning! Sausage, eggs, hash browns, cheeses, alfredo sauce layered between Lasagna noodles. Refrigerated and ready for your oven. Large $75, small $36.
🎉 Rum balls or Amaretto balls~ the rum balls were a favorite nibble at the Christmas Mini Market!
Rum balls are made with dark rum and pecans,. Amaretto is made with almonds. $6 for a container.
🎉 Blueberry Mascarpone Stuffed French Toast Casserole- large $50, small $18.

Kelli's Place will be open Tuesday December 31st 10am -5pm or until sold out.

Sooo...Sunday morning before the Christmas Mini Market I started to wash the kitchen floor.
Sweeping up the floor....I stuck the broom under my rack and out the broom came with a smear of....blood?? 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫
All my brain could think of at that moment was "wtf infiltrated my beloved kitchen and is now hemorrhaging?" 🤯
I swallowed hard and dropped down on all 4's.
Whatever it was, I'm now in protector mode. Don't dare screw with the safety of my kitchen!

Nothing but a puddle with a broom sweep through it. Again, my brain says "what the..."

I decide to check the upper racks...yep, 'blood' tracks. 😵‍💫
Then, I spot it. A tipped over red food coloring bottle.....slowly dripping.
Dang.
The adrenaline rush. 😅 😂🤣

I gave the gift 🎁 of an amazing ☕️ coffee this Christmas!
WOW! The Wired Rabbit in Cuba City, WI sure knows how to roast those beautiful coffee beans!!
The General Grant roast makes a perfect cup of coffee to start your morning. So smooth, so fresh, extremely lovely.
I'll be heading over to their website to order more for a pick up soon. (They ship too!)

And for those that know me, I'm typically not a coffee drinker due to tummy issues. After this half cup I went back for another half cup. 😁
No upsets, tummy approved!
I 👀 that they also blend organic teas and herbals!! 🎉 I'm excited to order those as well.

🈲️ Wonton Soup~ starts with a homemade chicken stock with carrots, snap peas, a bit of spinach and wontons. A drizzle of sesame oil gives this an oriental taste boost. $12 quart.

Breakfast for a cold windy day 😋

For those of you upping your protein- these have 10 grams per serving and are very tasty!

I added a bit of pink Himalayan Sea Salt, some local 🍯 and a sprinkle of Cinnamon.

A couple months ago I went to a Dinner Demo at the Book Kitchen in Mineral Point.
The Dinner Demo featured recipes from the cookbook Tenderheart, a vegetarian cookbook.
The owner, Nicole, is a trained pastry chef. She prepared a truly remarkable Dinner and the Demo was very informative and fun. The guests were all fun!

I went not only for an enjoyable experience but also with research and development in mind.

My love language is Experiences and Time spent with people. This evening filled my cup!

I highly recommend the Book Kitchen!!

That ice cream was the 💣!!!

The Christmas season can sure be a busy time.
So for this month's Sips Nibbles and Novels Book, we have chosen a short book.

A Time-Travel Christmas by Karen McQuestion is a heartwarming tale of a Christmas miracle.

An easy read, get you in the holiday spirit book.
The group will meet on Thursday December 19th at Kelli's Place at 6:30pm.

In addition to enjoying the book discussion and some holiday treats we will be determining next year's monthly books.

Oops!! I've totally dropped the ball on communication today. 😵‍💫😳🥺 I won't be offering a regular Thursday meal to go this week. I do apologize. Thank you for your understanding and patience as I navigate to the addition of Mondays meals to go. With that being said, I will have some Curry Chicken salads available, as well as my Water Kefir (I'll post more regarding this in a separate post) tomorrow for pick up between 4pm and 6pm. Message me if you'd like a yummy salad. Again, I apologize for dropping the ball. Stay warm folks! Warmer weather is on it's way!

At cookie #110 I was about to eat all the 'naked' ones. I now know why some animals eat their young. 😂 Most of the Gingerbread men were voted off Cookie Island. Sorry dudes, maybe next year. Cookies are boxed and this gal needs some 😴. Happy Holidays ‼️
