Thank you everyone who attended this weekend and especially to those who brought models to display. We hope you enjoyed the show and will be back next year.

We would also like to thank our presenters Matt Vogt, Perry Lambert and Tony Sissons for their wonderful clinics. And thanks to Daryl Klataske and Dave Dane for the Free-Mo module setup.

We would also like to thank those who provided items for our raffle. The following individuals donated items: Dave Dane, Paul Shattuck and Chris Titsworth.

Finally, we would like to thank Jeff Zucker of Spring Creek Model Trains for the Grand Prize as well as bringing plenty of HO and N Scale stuff for us to purchase. And also Hot Rod Chicken for the delicious lunch items.

Remember, it’s not too early to start planning a project to show off next year or start thinking of a presentation.

I hope everyone had a good Independence Day yesterday. We are now four months from our show in Benton.

So who all is working on something to show off this year? Do you have a clinic or a presentation you would like to give? We could really use some volunteers who want to share their knowledge. If this is something you want to try send us an email at [email protected].

I (Chris) will be at the Spring Creek show this weekend in Deshler. So say hi if you see me, If not I hope to see you in Nov in Benton.

Join our non-profit group of modelers for an annual meet of like-minded enthusiasts. Get involved with our community of dedicated modelers and showcase your skills.

Hey everyone, it's only 8 months until the 2023 RPM meet. The dates are 4-5 Nov this year, so get thinking about what you are going to bring. Also if you think you have a topic you would like to do a presentation about, we need some volunteers. Anything related to prototype modeling will do. Darryl gave and excellent one on electric ideas for layouts, Brien Wood did one on 3D printing and Dusty has given one on Frisco locomotives. If you would like to try your hand at one or already have done one and want to again, let us know.

I am working on getting some updated info on this page and other ways (for the Paul Shattucks of the world), so keep watching for changes. The first one is that we now have a dedicated email instead of using Brandon's personal one. So if you don't want to use Facebook messenger you can sent questions (or presentation requests) to [email protected] and I will try and get it changed on the page when I figure out Facebook's convoluted new system.

We are excited to see everyone this coming weekend for the 2022 Mid-Continent Prototype Modelers event!! Times are 8am to 5pm Saturday Nov 5th, and 9am to 3pm Sun Nov 6th!! Spring Creek Model Trains will be on hand for all of your modeling needs!!!

We are just over a month away from the show this year. Make plans to join us this year. The dates is November 6th and 7th. We will be open Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 10-3. All scales are welcome. There will be clinics on both days. Spring Creek Model Trains will be there with all of our favorite things to buy!

I hate to make this post tonight. It is with regret that we have come down to cancel this years show due to COVID 19. I didn’t want to put my friends and family in a situation where we could be liable for someone attending to get sick. My wife and my lawyer along with friends are all saying to let the show resume next year hopefully after all of this stuff settles. I am sorry to everybody who looks forward to this show every year. We will be back next year and will hopefully be able to get some vendors and clinics going again.
