Seniors are my main jam. It's so important to choose a great senior photographer because at this stage in life, there are no redo's.

I can't believe I haven't posted about a couple I have been most honored to work with - Christian & Jewlee! Earlier this year, a gentleman contacted me about shooting an engagement session and possibly their wedding. Their wedding date fell on a date that a previous couple had already inquired about, but when they never got back to me, I booked the consult call with Christian and Jewlee. I kid you not, these two are kindred spirits to me. Sometimes I get on the phone with people and it just clicks, ya know? It clicked with Christian and Jewlee, and I was so excited to work with them. We planned their engagement session, had it, and yesterday I had the immense joy in photographing their wedding. I held back tears from behind the camera. There were so many moving moments and I can't wait to share more with you all, but enjoy some of my favorite photos from their engagement session and their wedding yesterday!

Christian and Jewlee, I am so blessed our paths crossed. May God bless you and keep you and make his face shine upon you. ♡

👩‍🎓Graduation mini-sessions are up now! I run these much like my prom-hoco mini sessions. My aim is to take that pressure off you getting good grad photos, and probably better than the quick snapshot they'll get on Grad night. RANDOM BRAIN DUMP POST:

I leave for Shutterfest on Monday, and this girl is EXCITED! I will be "out of the office" from Monday to Thursday as I will be in networking events, classes, and photoshoots from early to late each day, and I hear the wifi at Union Station is spotty. If you message me, I will try to reply, but Friday morning will be devoted to winding down, replying, and recharging my batteries (literally and figuratively).

I finally told my kids mom is leaving for the week, and I bet you wouldn't believe their reaction...which was...no reaction. Maybe it just hasn't sunk in? They do get to play hooky from school on Tuesday, so that sweetens the deal.

Every time I get the opportunity to photograph clients, I want to treat it as "this will be the best one yet!" because I feel like I'm always trying new things I've learned.

Last year, I began moving into using flash photography for my outdoor sessions, and it has seriously elevated my photographs and made editing so much more straightforward and streamlined.

I have recently purchased a variable ND Polarizing filter for my lens, which is basically sunglasses for your lens. Simply put, it just makes things better.

I used both flash and the ND filter for the photos below. I truly just can't believe how far I've come, and I can't wait to see what the future brings. I know I say that a lot, but I feel like my motto is developing into something like "Never stop giving your best, and tomorrow will be better than today," or something cheesy like that. Because in this journey in photography, I never see myself "arriving." Just improving and always giving my best. I love the connections and new friends I get to make along the way. I love giving you the very best I can and I want to give a huge THANK YOU for all who have supported me over the years.
