Sounds I Love: Setting the Table
Creating these centerpieces for the Taste Makers series at The Momentary was an absolute joy. It was a privilege to put our hands to work for the talented and kind chef Eric See from Ursula Brooklyn, whose reciprocal nature in the kitchen is very inspiring. I am continually impressed by The Momentary’s hardworking staff and their commitment to bringing us the best. I deeply appreciate their food service team ensuring that plants and pantry goods are thoughtfully reused. I made sure each element we included could be reused, and they received them as gifts ♥️
As a queer florist who once called Brooklyn home, crafting flowers for a queer chef from Brooklyn was deeply meaningful. I imagine we were on two different rooftops, looking at manhattan, at 1 in the morning and dreaming up this opportunity.
Grateful for the support and graciousness from The Momentary’s team, who always go above and beyond to help. 🌸
