"After looking on some Facebook groups, I stumbled upon Brielle’s Bridal Boutique. I wanted to redesign my mom’s wedding dress after she had it preserved for over 20 years. In my first encounter with Claribel, she was so kind and was so excited to get started on this project. After a couple of appointments with her, I have never felt more comfortable and felt like I could trust her 100% with my mom’s dress. Claribel is such a talented seamstress, really takes her time to perfect something and can just picture it in her head to then execute it. Claribel made two skirts, 3 different sleeves, and the bodice so I can have 3 different dresses made. I have one for my bridal shower and wore one for my engagement party. I received an INSANE amount of compliments on my dress and they couldn’t believe it was my mom’s. Nothing about this would have been without Claribel!!! Xoxo"

"I absolutely loved working with Claribel on my wedding dress alterations. She was so patient, kind, calm, skilled, and professional. It felt like she wanted the dress to be perfect as much as I did, and she didn't give up until it was just right. Sometimes I felt silly pointing out any little imperfections, but she was so gracious and made sure to validate and address anything I said, no matter how small. She didn't rush the process at all which I really appreciated. My dress came out PERFECTLY, and I can't recommend Claribel enough. Her pricing was very reasonable, she didn't cap the number of visits, and she threw in steaming on my veil which my mom had made. 🌟 Working with April Seroda was an absolute joy! Her kind words about her custom gown experience mean the world to us. Here's what she had to say:

'The best decision I ever made was having Clarabel make my wedding dress. After going to so many stores where the dresses were heavy, looked cheap or trashy, were insanely expensive or just didn't come close to anything I was looking for, I was in panic mode. I also didn't want to order a dress a year before my wedding when I was in the process of losing weight. One day I was at a nail salon and a chatty, kind woman next to me and I got to talking. I told her about my dress struggle and she mentioned a woman near Englewood who makes dresses. When I got home, I scoured the internet and found Clarabel. THANK GOD. I had a vision -- I created a PowerPoint with parts of dresses I liked and we worked together to make something that was comfortable and gorgeous. As the process progressed, some of the things I thought I liked, I didn't. I LOVED that I was able to change direction and make modifications in real time. I went from a short to long style, hard shoulders to softer ones, literally anything I wanted to change or adjust, we did in partnership and I ended with something perfect for me. If you have any hesitations, don't. She is the real deal. She also reworked my Aunt's dress that she got during Covid and made modifications to make it perfect and did all the alterations for my sister and flower girl. I loved the intimacy of working with someone one-on-one, not being on display in a huge wedding factory store, and having a personal relationship with my dress maker. I can't thank her enough. Don't hesitate... run, don't walk.'

Did you know custom doesn't necessarily mean from scratch? Sometimes time just doesn't allow for a fully custom made piece, in which case we may recommend our clients look into what we call "build ups" where we take a purchased gown and we customize it to their exact liking.

And guess what? Brielle was a vision from head to toe, all thanks to her amazing mom – the brilliant designer behind Brielle's Boutique, the heart and soul of it all! 💖

Starting her day in a custom slip and robe crafted from the last few pieces of Claribel's wedding gown, Brielle radiated elegance and grace. ✨ Then, she transformed into a gown fit for a princess – but with a twist! This gown wasn't just one style, it was four! 🌟 From a fitted silhouette adorned with hand-sewn 3D flowers and dazzling beading to a flowing slip for effortless movement and a dramatic sweetheart neckline, Brielle's dress had it all! And let's not forget about those removable sleeves, transforming her look into a full ballgown with a mesmerizing cascading train. Oh, and the cathedral veil?
