The Buddy Club Children's Shows produces over 100 shows a year to more than 100,000 Bay area families! We were born at The Other Cafe Comedy Club in San Francisco in 1987 when Buddy Club owner and founder Scott Gelfand began producing Sunday morning children's shows at the legendary venue, then home to the likes of Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Dana Carvey, Paula Poundstone, Elaine Boosler, Whoo
pi Goldberg, and many more of America's most famous comedians. Today The Buddy Club dazzles audiences from July through April in many locations: San Francisco, Berkeley, Danville and in San Rafael. Shows are targeted for children ages two through twelve and their parents. Show time is Sunday at 11 am and 1 pm -- times of the week usually set aside for families to enjoy each other's company. The Buddy Club features the most talented family entertainers nationwide: magicians, jugglers, singers, clowns, ventriloquists, acrobats, puppeteers and more, who entertain over 100,000 families a year in regularly scheduled performances and special events. Buddy Club performers are also available for corporate picnics and holiday parties, school fund raisers, events at shopping malls, fairs and festivals, and contribute to a week of performing arts workshops at the City of Berkeley's family camp near Yosemite National Park each year.
