Fair friends...if you utilize our winter rental program, reminder, your contract is due September 15 (Sunday)! Contracts can be brought to the fair office before 4 pm today (Friday, September 13), or placed in the drop box outside the front doors over the weekend, or they can be put in the mail as long as they are postmarked before September 15.

💲 Did you enter an exhibit at the 2024 BCYF? Did you know you receive premiums (monetary awards) for each exhibit you entered? Did you pick up your premium check Saturday or Sunday of Fair? If you did NOT, please come to the BCYF Office to pick yours up before September 11! Our office is open Monday - Friday, 9 am - 4 pm 💲

Fair friends - The BCYF office and grounds will be closed for the long weekend. We will be closed Friday, August 30 thru Monday September 2 to allow our staff a well deserved long weekend. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 3 at 9 am.

🐓🦃Small Animal Auction Buyers - If you purchased poultry and turkeys at the 2024 Small Animal Auction and had the animals processed through Smokin Butcher or End of the Road Processing, TOMORROW is pick up night. You MUST pick up the processed animals from 6:30 - 7:00 pm TOMORROW (Friday, August 23). We do not have freezer space to hold your purchases this year, so everything must be picked up under the poultry pavilion.🐓🦃

Fair friends - We thank you for another great week! We are now in "tear down" mode. We are looking for volunteers to help us take down tents. We will be taking them down on Tuesday and Wednesday (August 20 and 21) this week starting at 4 pm. We'll start with the tents in the farm and power area.

Fair friends - Thank you for attending the 2024 Berrien County Youth Fair! We hope you had a great time!

Exhibitors - Well done! You should be very proud of yourselves. It was a long week with thousands of spectacular exhibits. Congratulations!

As a reminder to exhibitors - Exhibit pick up is TODAY. Livestock is being released from 7:00 am - 11:00 am (poultry only until 9:00 am)
Still exhibits will be released from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Remember you'll need your claim checks for the entries and your yellow entry sheet to pick up your premiums. Premium checks for everything except auction money can be picked up and cashed today from 8:00 am - 1:30 pm at the entry office.

Finally, thank you to our hundreds of volunteers. We truly couldn't do this without you!

🤔 Any guesses what we’ve got here? Not a bounce house!

It’s a planetarium from Michigan Science Center! Free shows daily at 1,4 and 7 pm. Learn about the solar system and different constellations! There is a limit of about 30 people per show. Additional shows may be added based on popularity of the exhibit.

The other end of the building is our ag-expo building complete with a straw maze and all sorts of activities and information about agricultural commodities.

Day 1! Good morning Fair friends!

Lots of exciting things happening today!
8:00 am - Equine judging
8:30 am - Goat judging
9:00 am Garden and Farm tractor pulling
9:00 am - Judging of rabbits
11:00 am - The grand reopening of the Wonders of Birth (visit the revamped building with added attractions!)
1:00 pm - Judging of llamas
3:00 pm - Judging of cats
4:00 pm - Judging of sheep
Tonight in the grandstand - The tractor pull at 7:00 pm. (Purchase your tickets at www.BCYF.org or at the grandstand ticket office)

Entry day has started!

Exhibitors - Remember you’ll need to stop at health check first this morning. (Check exhibitor handbook for specific location) Once you’re through health check and set up in the barn, head to the entry office to complete the entry process.
The entry office is open until 2 pm for animal entries, then will close for a brief time to set up for still exhibits.
Still exhibit entry is 2 pm to 8 pm. Same process, drop your entries off at their specific barns then head to the entry office to complete the process.

The 2024 Berrien County Youth Fair has officially launched! We crowned our 2024 Royalty tonight. Please help us congratulate Audrey Dixon as our new Fair Queen, Paul Pirri as our Fair King, Emma Zeiger as the 1st Runner Up to the Queen, Kyle Smith as the 1st Runner Up to the King, Addison Leshman as the Princess and Liam Williams as the Prince. Congratulations to all the new royalty and all the other contestants in the royalty contest. You all did a great job! Good luck this week!

Fair friends - Reminder that Friday, August 9 is the LAST day to purchase rides wristband vouchers at their reduced price. They are $27 through August 9. After that you'll need to purchase them during the Fair for $32. They're available through August 9 at Berrien County Credit Union's and the BCYF Fair office.

Fair Friends - We are in the home stretch! Just a few more things we need to finish up that we could use some volunteer help with. We'll be putting up snow fence, w**d eating and putting side curtains on tents today (Tuesday Aug. 6) and tomorrow (Wednesday Aug. 7) starting anytime after 4. If you have your own w**d eater, please bring it with you. We can supply the string and gas. Please meet at maintenance and we'll direct where to go from there.

Exhibitors - We're finding a LOT of "pending" online entries. Please make sure that you hit the SUBMIT button once you're done. You should then receive a confirmation email of your entries. This serves as your "yellow" copy of your entry form. If you did not hit submit and did not receive a confirmation email, your entries are not valid. Remember the deadline is midnight TONIGHT (August 1)!!

Fair friends - We have the list of rides that will be at the 2024 Berrien County Youth Fair! As a reminder, the rides wristband vouchers are on sale through August 9 for $27. After August 9, the price will go up to $32. Vouchers can be purchased at the Fair office Monday - Friday between 9 am and 4 pm or with our friends at the Berrien County Honor Credit Union locations during their regular business hours.
