Many of you know, but some don't - that we started homeschooling in 2020. It just felt... right? My oldest finished out that difficult spring with her public school friends and teachers adjusting to school online, and knowing my son would be in kindergarten the following fall made me pause and realize I was ready to just dive in and school them myself. We've honestly had a great time. This year is year 6 for us. I've got an 8th grader, a 5th grader, and a 1st grader. It's a lot of code switching but I'm so thankful for this time with all three of them, watching them question, guiding them to find solutions, and bear witness to the lightbulb moments. It's really a gift. This might be our last year with our oldest choosing this path and I'm trying to savor it all the more because of that. Here's a pic of our "first day of school" from last week.

This lady is such a gem of a human. Last night we did a fun lifestyle business session together for the many hats she wears. She runs a flower farm, is embarking on a creative kickstarter project, is a momma and wife, works a full time job, and finds moments of joy and delight to pour into her soul in the midst of it all.
