My peony planter this morning...it was a bit cold but I'm thankful the peony roots are finally in! Pics are some of the varieties that I planted today.
Peonies are more of a long-term investment, and I have a feeling will become my new favorite. Although they won't be ready for next season, I hope to keep adding these to the garden in the coming years. Typically, they say to wait 3 years before cutting off these gorgeous plants. ( I do have a few mature ones that we will be using for next season!) Are you a peony lover?? Any favorite varieties?

Hoping you all had a blessed Thanksgiving. I know I'm so super thankful for a lot this year. One being all you amazing people who have supported the garden throughout the past few years. The garden wouldn't grow if it weren't for all of you coming to pick your own flowers, purchasing subscriptions or pre-made bouquets or building your own when Daisy is out! So thank you, thank you! I pray God keeps me on this journey for a while ...can't wait to see what He has in store...💛🧡🤎..also drop a comment with what your number 1 FaVORITE Thanksgiving dish was this year?

Another perk of homeschooling:
When I have to finish garden clean up tomorrow, we can be flexible and do school on a Sunday evening...as Mario🤣.
Since weather is looking great, low tunnels, dahlia covering, and a bazillion pots and trays to wash will be underway this week.
Also this week...remember the importance of voting and what a blessing it is to be free to do so 🇺🇲❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

🍁This week is officially Fall, which means lots of work to be done! Planting and prepping for next season begins!
One major change to the garden is we've decided to forgo tulips for next year. I debated and decided the timing and work of them was not beneficial for us next season. I'd rather focus on ranunculus and peonies in the Spring.

🌻One of the reasons I started this garden was to have a place for people to come and enjoy God's beauty in His creation of flowers, it makes my heart happy when people come pick a bouquet for their home, to bless someone, senior pics, dances, showers and weddings and more! God willing the garden will continue to grow and bless! Thanks to all who have come and supported and enjoyed the garden!!

Vacation was so great, but tomorrow we jump back into ALL the things: work, school, sports and...FLOWERS! Excited to check back in on the garden and see what's happening. I can now switch to fall mode....expect some flower pictures...or maybe more beach pics 😉🥰.
