The Friendly Tap has been a neighborhood staple for over 70 years. Over the last ten years, the Friendly has evolved, The side room has become a unique, thriving coffee shop. We support local businesses by doing business with them. The Friendly's vendors include Bridgeport Coffee, Todd and Holland Teas, Flur bakery, and Revolution craft beers. We serve stellar coffee, savory pastries and tasty tre
ats. We serve great cocktails and numerous beers in bottles and on tap. The Friendly serves as a home away from home during the day/night to various musicians, writers, and neighbors. What once was a room above the coffee shop and bar has become the Friendly School of Folk Music, a registered 501c3 not for profit music school where originality and creativity come to flourish. We are no longer just a school, a coffee shop and a bar...we are an AWESOME community for artists, musicians, crafters, neighbors, families and friends.
