This past weekend Sage and Birch had the honor of hosting a Bridal Shower for our May bride Melody. The event was held at the beautiful Klein Hall Event Venue in Bethalto. Food was done by the bride, her aunt and uncle. One of the best parts was the build your own flower bouquet bar. It was truly beautiful. We can't wait for this Brides wedding in May

🌟Our first 2024 Bride and Groom! 🌟
Melody and Aiden
Melody and Aiden met in the second grade and have known each other for 13 years. Their favorite date nights include Texas Roadhouse and having a movie night at home. They enjoy watching crime shows, Law and Order, SWAT, and NCIS.
Aiden surprised Melody with a proposal in a Sunflower field on August 13th, 2022. It was beautiful and romantic. This couple is always smiling, and you can feel the love between them!
Melody and Aiden have set their date for 2024 and have asked Sage and Birch to help them with all of their wedding planning and decor needs.
This will be a beautiful rustic fairytale wedding full of different shades of pink with emerald green accents.
Sage and Birch is so excited to help this couple plan their day, their way.

Gwen Adams and Isaac Katzmarek
Gwen and Isaac met in 2019 while working at Dairy Queen in Wood River, IL. Their favorite date nights include going out for Mexican and watching crime shows. Gwen said Isaac surprised her with the proposal on the beach while on vacation in July of 2022. How romantic! Gwen and Isaac have set their wedding date for August 5th, 2023. Their ceremony will be held in the BEAUTIFUL chapel at Lewis and Clark Community College. With their Boho style and pink and sage green colors, this is bound to be an amazingly beautiful wedding. Sage and Birch is so happy to be helping this couple plan their day, their way.

11/12/2022 Blankenship wedding
This wedding is special because it was the wedding of Sage and Birch Wedding Planning and Decor owner Jennifer.
Saturday November 12th 2022 was supposed to be a beautiful day weather wise. The wedding ceremony was supposed to be outside and the reception was going to be inside and out. However when we all woke up that morning we found it had snowed and was only 19 degrees. Jennifer made the last minute decision to move the ceremony inside because of the cold. We didn't want anyone to get sick. When the decision was made, Jennifer, Casey (MOH) and Sara got to work coming up with a plan, moving things around, and redecorating. It all turned out so beautifully. We combined multiple themes to make it perfect.
Boho, Rustic, Country, Romantic, Vintage, and Timeless.
All decorations were planned, made, and arraigned by Sage and Birch Wedding Planning and Decor with the help of Sara Meyer for floral pieces.

Meet the girls behind Sage and Birch Wedding Planning and Decor!
Jennifer Blankenship is married and has a nine year old son. She has always had a love for decorating, organizing, and planning. Helping others and making their vision come to life is what drives her. If Jennifer isn't at home you'll probably find her at her son's Baseball game or at a home decor store with Casey.
Casey Cope is married and has five children who's ages range from 3 to 19. She is your take charge girl who makes sure everything gets done and everyone is where they need to be. If she isn't at home you'll probably find her at a sporting event for one of her kids or shopping with Jennifer.
Jennifer and Casey met on June 6th 2020 at Jennifer's husband's house. They instantly connected and found out they had a lot in common and became instant best friends. Jennifer and Casey share a love for planning, and decor so they started talking about different business ideal. In 2021 Casey's niece needed help with her wedding so Casey and Jennifer jumped in to action and helped take the stress off the bride. Due to Covid restrictions and surges, venues and vendors were hard to find / work with. Casey and Jennifer were able to locate vendors, get decorations made, and make sure the Bride and Grooms day was perfect. After this wedding Jennifer and Casey decided they wanted to start a Wedding planning and decor business. In 2023, with the support of their husbands their dream became a reality and Sage and Birch Wedding Planning and Decor was born.
