A Valentines Project Markers
This unique art project focuses entirely on the vibrant, vivid potential of markers. We'll be depicting the tender and powerful bond between a mother cheetah and her cub. Students will first capture the image using fine-point markers to ensure detail and accuracy. Afterwards, we will enhance these heartfelt drawings with Valentine-themed decorations using a variety of colorful Sharpies. This project not only celebrates a mother's love but also allows students to express their creativity through the festive embellishments of love and affection inherent to Valentine's Day. Join us as we explore the warmth and complexity of animal relationships through the lively medium of markers.

June 17 - 21 Lights, Camera, Action Camp! 10 - 2pm (Option for early drop off and late pick up 9 to 3pm Ages 6 and up. https://www.care.com/explore/series/97161-lights-camera-action-full-day-camp In today’s digital world, media literacy has never been so important. Learning how to tell stories and produce digital content is a skill set required by us all. Not only will children learn about storytelling, old special effects, and filmmaking, but they will also experience the artistic side of the business, which we at the Giggling Pig continue to nurture and cherish in all our programs. Each film will be shared electronically within two weeks of the program’s ending. This will give students a chance to upload their film to YouTube, share on social media, or simply enjoy their movie with friends and family at home. Here is one of the amazing films from last year.
