Ahhhh I am sooo excited! I picked up The Southern Distinction Magazine I was featured in today....and guess what....I made FRONT COVER!!! I got the opportunity to coordinate, design and set up the photoshoot at Hotel Indigo in Athens. I also got the opportunity to coordinate, design and do floral/decor for The Graduate in Athens. The best part was being able to work with some AMAZING, TALENTED AND CREATIVE VENDORS!!! I LOVE MY JOB!

I hope y'all had a fabulous weekend! Mine included an awesome wedding in downtown Monroe in four different historical sites. It was so unique and ga-ga-gorgeous!!! 😍 I will be sharing more very soon! Sunday I spent the day with my family. Oh how I love Sunday's! For the next NINE Saturday's, I will be working! It saddens me that it has come to the point for me to leave a bad review. I have reached out to Katie numerous times to discuss the wedding disarray. Sadly I'm still waiting for her phone call. When we first met I was totally taken back by her vision. My daughters wedding was held at our family property in a very rural area. With this being said it was imperative that things were delivered in a timely manner. Sunday before the wedding we requested a timeline for when vendors should arrive. Katie took a previous timeline changed a few names and sent it on. There many things that were in our contract but did NOT happen.
1. 4 church pews (she did not plan accordingly to the guest) we had standing guest.
2. barn doors to block the view of the guest for the bride to walk thru
3. plates were delivered dirty from who knows where
4. not enough seating, plates, utensils for the reception
5. DJ was not given a timeline for when to announce the couple or their special dances. ( i had to do the announcing)
6. you cannot properly serve a wedding of 120 guest with 2 people. I had told her that with us having 4 daughters that I had a list of teenagers who would have been willing to help.
7. chandeliers were hung with no electricity
8. edison lights were to be hung they were NOT
9. cocktail & barn tables
My daughters wedding was in April and there is no telling what I'm leaving off.
