This is a good shot. Digging, cleaning, and eating earthworms. It says online this is a staple in their diet.
She didn't attempt to climb onto my roof thankfully!!
I haven't seen the pack lately. She has been wandering mostly solo for a month or more. Perhaps she is still searching for a place to have her babies?
The good news--- She didn't attempt to climb my fence door(: hopefully she and her buddies will give up.
The door is covered with nails, scat mat, and there is very sharp tin now on the top.
I finally isolated their entry area. I had a good idea but got confirmation a week ago when I actually got it on camera. I am observing closely now to see if she makes another "attempt " to climb it.
It tis the season. Don't give them access to your roof.
Hopefully, after this last visit to my roof, this is all taken care of now. The top of my fence door is now very raccoon proofed(:
In the very beginning of this it almost looks like it has a mouse in it's mouth? They do eat mice.
Last night. A racoon the size of a small dog. I am monitoring VERY closely this year.
It's kind of hard to see but it looks like one of the resident coons might be walking with more of a limp than normal
It was a busy night last night with the Bellevue pac of racoons
