Instagram

One of my goals for 2025 is to work on my Instagram and possibly set up a YouTube channel and or TikTok.

Interestingly enough, a leading flower grower said their best money maker IS Facebook.

I have been reading lots of posts for 1099 roles here locally that are NOT 1099 roles. They are w2.

If you have set hours, assignments, and commute to a job, I DON'T think they can legally do this. There was an article posted recently about all of the money people in Illinois are losing by working in this scenario.

Do some research online to see if the job falls into that category or call your local workforce development office. An accountant may also be able to answer this question for you.

When you are in a 1099 capacity, you pay your taxes, and you have NO benefits. You may be only making HALF of that hourly rate, with all things said.

If they do set you up in this scenario I think they are only allowed to do it up to so much money? ($600?)

I did it for several years recruiting. It wasn't until an accountant told me I was not in a 1099 role, I was an actual w2. It got fixed rather quickly when I brought that to my employers attention.

This one is huge!! Just now out back

One from a neighborhood pack headed back to the sewer they seem to live in.

We have snow and cold temps coming so I am running the mower out of gas to store for the winter. My maintenance guy said I need a new head gasket? I will have to research and hope I can do that myself. Sometimes it boils down to just not having the right tools 😕 Hoping I don't run it out of oil while running it out of gas. It seems to only leak oil while it is running.
