We met at a blind date. We went to a St. Louis Hawks basketball game because our next date was a hay rack ride and it gave us a chance to get to know each other before the ride. My friend Susan and her boyfriend , a friend of Bill's, set it up. I was a senior in high school and Bill had had a year of college and didn't know what he wanted to do and was working in St.Louis.
