I am so excited about the Evening Events and Fireworks at Capital University. The show this year is going to be the biggest and most spectacular that Bexley has ever HAD!!!

We will be sending out links for our volunteer page for the evening event soon!!

We are also looking for more food vendors and a business that would like to run our kid's activity table. If you are interested please send me a DM.

Did you know Bexley fireworks were not always at Capital....that's right for a few years they were at Wolfe Park...and before that they were at Bexley High School. The fireworks were shot off 1 at a time with no music.

How times have changed into the awesome event we now have!!!

It looks like the Bexley 4th of July will be back in full force this year.

As of right now we are planning on having Bounce Houses, Rock Wall, Arts and Crafts, and many more activities.

We are looking for more suggestions of things YOU would like to see during this event. We will consider all suggestions and look forward to putting on another Great event this year!!!

It's that time already!!!

The Bexley 4th of July first FIREWORKS Committee meeting is Sunday. If you would like to be a part of the process to put on THE BEST show in Central Ohio DM me for details.

We meet once per month and help then run the event at Capital. This is a great way to be involved in the BEST Bexley Event of the year.

If you signed up on-line for tickets for the July 4th Nighttime Activities at Capital, I encourage you to get your wristband at City Hall this week to expedite the admission process!

The City of Bexley is excited to announce that all traditional Independence Day celebrations are taking place on Sunday, July 4th! Celebrations will include the John Barr 5k, parade, evening celebrations, and fireworks. The City has worked with public health experts and Franklin County Public Health to ensure our plans will keep residents, guests, and volunteers as safe as possible. The City encourages all participants to follow CDC guidelines this 4th of July, depending on whether or not they are fully vaccinated.

Evening Celebrations & Fireworks – doors open at 5:00 pm - Ticketing Required
To ensure safe spacing for the evening celebrations and fireworks, we are using a ticketing system for this years' event. Tickets are free, and residency in Bexley is not required to register. We have 7,500 tickets available for the evening celebrations and fireworks, and guests can register starting today! Ticket registration will be open leading up to the event as long as there are tickets remaining. Entry will not be permitted without a ticket, and minors must be registered by a parent or guardian.

4th of July in Bexley Independence Day is a special day every year in Bexley. Alumni, friends, and extended family travel to Bexley, year after year, to reconnect with the community. The streets are filled with laugher and smiles, and the evening ends with an amazing fireworks display and community....

The Bexley 4th of July Fireworks are on for this year. There will be a few differences from past events due to the Covid Pandemic but we will still have entertainment, food, and limited activities. We look forward to seeing everyone at the event and celebrating the 4th of July.

More information will be shared as it becomes available.

We will be following Ohio Health Department recommendations for public outdoor events.
