In all the hoopla around getting the retreats launched, and finishing up my radiation, I kinda skimmed over the fact that I am offering up scholarships again this year. Specifically, I have two spots available in my Slow Fashion 2.0 retreat, the intermediate level garment sewing outing!

I bet there are people out there right now, reading this even (I hope) who want to level up their garment sewing skills. And who don’t necessarily have the resources to pay for the tuition… Amirite..? If it’s not you, maybe it’s someone you know…? Have you completed some wardrobe items lately that just aren’t what you want them to be…? Are you getting stuck on pattern adjustments? Zipper insertion? Buttonholes? Fabric choices? Garment silhouettes…? Are you paying off too much student loan debt to pay this tuition? Catching up from two years of pandemic paycheck pain? Is all your disposable income going to family obligations…? So many possible reasons why paying for Slow Fashion 2.0 is beyond your means right now.

These scholarships are for you! Please apply! This is a unique opportunity for the intermediate sewist who has spent a lot of time on their own, progressed to a competent level, but needs an extra push to go further. Hello Makers,

I know I've been quiet in this pace, but I am still here, and I miss you all! I am resolved to run the Maine Stitching Retreats, both Slow Stitching and Slow Fashion this Summer. Unless something unpredicted happen, which could... Read about my thoughts here in this post. I really really hope we can all gather this Summer!
