All week long, these creative kids have been writing songs, building microphones, spinning DJ sets, and learning the ins and outs of recording and producing their own music. From soldering wires to making playlists, they’ve been busy turning ideas into soundwaves. 🎢🎸

Now it’s time to share it with you 🎀

Come celebrate their hard work THIS FRIDAY AT 3PM at the Big Sky Center for the Arts for a final performance featuring original songs, live music, and a whole lot of heart. Some of their projects will even hit the KGLT airwaves!

Huge thanks to Brian Kassay and KGLT for bringing music, creativity, and community into this year’s Kids Summer Songwriting Camp! 🎢

This week, campers will dive into DJing, podcasting, songwriting, music production, and even build their own radios and microphones. From Garageband beats to soldering wires and learning keyboard chords - these kids are getting a hands-on, one-of-a-kind music experience.

We’re so grateful for this inspiring partnership and can’t wait to hear what the campers create!

Join us Thursday, August 7 for Public Art Night at Music in the Mountains, a celebration of creativity, community, and Big Sky’s growing public art scene.

We’ll be spotlighting Big Sky Beings, 2025, a community-inspired mural by Stella Nall, and raising funds to support the stewardship of public art in Big Sky. Exclusive merch featuring mural characters will be available, with all proceeds benefiting public art initiatives.

Come early, grab your gear, and enjoy a night of music, imagination, and connection at Len Hill Park.

Let’s keep Big Sky colorful, one mural at a time.

The Arts Council camp kiddos have been all over Big Sky this summer: Last week creating art in nature, and this week capturing the phenomenon through photography. From exploring trails to discovering new perspectives, they’ve been immersed in creativity and the outdoors. Every week is a treat for us to witness their curiosity and joy in action.

Tonight at Music in the Mountains 🎢
The lawn comes alive at 6:30PM with Emma and the Ledge, followed by the high-energy sounds of the Jamie McLean Band at 8PM!

These photos capture you: the people of Music in the Mountains. The ones who fill the lawn, dance under the open sky, and bring the Big Sky community together every Thursday. πŸ’›

Thank you for making this series more than a concert... it’s a summer tradition.
