We host a free concert every Thursday evening at the Center Sta

Shortly after the unforgettable show that wrapped up this summer's Music in the Mountains series, we lost a true legend. Joe Kirchner was larger than life—an incredible musician, friend, and all-around amazing human being. His energy, talent, and spirit lit up the Len Hill Park stage time and time again, and he always felt like family.

We'll miss his hugs, his smile, and his beautiful music, but his memory will forever echo in our hearts and on our stage.

Sending love to his family, especially . You will always be a part of the Big Sky Arts family, Joe. ❤️🎶

It's a HUGE DAY for the Arts Council of Big Sky!! After 35 years, we finally have our very own home. The Arts Council has purchased the building at 77 Lone Peak Drive (formerly Choppers restaurant), with the goal on transforming the space into an arts center. The building acquisition was made possible by an extraordinary lead gift from Big Sky resident and long-time ACBS supporter Don Grasso. Grasso is a passionate philanthropist who believes in paying forward his good fortune by giving back to meaningful causes. “I made this donation to honor my sister-in-law Patty Rhea and her husband Bob, who have inspired me to recognize the power of the arts,” said Grasso. “I hope this gift is transformational for the Big Sky community and inspires others to give generously too.”

We have big plans for the space, and have retained CCY Architects out of Basalt, Colorado, to help us achieve our vision. Read more at our link in bio. And join us on Dec 14. The Arts Council is planning on hosting an open house at the Christmas Stroll in the Town Center on Saturday from 5-8. Please stop by, say hello and check out our ideas!

✨ It’s and today we’re celebrating the Spanish Peaks Community Foundation! 🌄

Thanks to their continued support, we’re able to make art classes accessible to our community. Without partners like SPCF, we wouldn’t have these enriching, multi-generational spaces where people of all ages can gather, connect, and create together. 🎨💫

Thank you, , for helping us serve our community! 💙
