Our Story

On April 13th, 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tana and Arick Higginbotham put all of their flowers in one basket and purchased Inspirations Flowers & Gifts from Laura and Duane Murphree. Laura had owned the flower shop (formally known as Dakota’s) for nearly 18 years, and before being known as Dakota’s it was also a flower shop. Laura moved the flower shop from its original 11th Place location to a beautiful former home built in 1907 on 1410 Scurry. Come on by and be a part of the next chapter in our story!
