This morning we had the pleasure of having Twin Cities Tree Service come out bright and early to clean up our beautiful oak trees. The group arrived early to beat the heat and got busy at 8:00 AM. By 9:20, they had completed the job, cleaned up and were on their way. Our trees look beautiful!! Each member of the crew was polite, focused and professional. What I love most about doing weddings at our Rose, is meeting so many incredible people! Last Saturday this amazing couple said their "I Do's" under the shade of our grand oak tree, before an audience of friends and family. Everyone was so friendly and truly excited for the couple! What a beautiful Spring day at The Rose! It always makes my heart smile when the yellow roses start to bloom. Yellows are the first buds to appear each Spring. It makes me think of my dear friend Roseann. She was the most positive and inspiring person I've ever known. To honor her we named our business The Victorian Rose. I know she watches over our happy place. 💕💕💕

Such an adorable Winnie the Pooh themed baby shower yesterday at The Rose. Amazing decorations included a balloon arch from Anthony's Balloons. Sooooo much food and the cutest cake ever! I can't wait to meet this sweet baby boy due in May.💕

Several months ago we replaced our white, wooden picket fence with traditional Hoop and Picket iron fencing. We love the look but wanted something different for our gates. We finally found someone to fabricate what we think are the perfect gates to compliment the fence and The Rose! We're delighted with the look and added security of having entry gates again.

Congratulations to Kristyn and Jared! They came all the way from Salinas to get married at The Rose on Saturday. There was an Italian soda bar, nacho bar and taco truck for their guests. Family and friends came from near and far including the groom's mother who traveled from Virginia to officiate. We are grateful to all for visiting our home and wish this amazing couple a lifetime of happiness! 💕💕

Saying goodbye to our loved ones is never easy. It's important that we honor those that have passed in a manner that reflects their personalities and the lives they lived. This weekend we had the privilege of helping 2 beautiful and caring families celebrate their mothers. So much love and so many memories were shared. Last wedding of the year and it was beautiful! The weather Gods were certainly on our side and gave us a lovely, brisk fall evening. Exactly what the bride wanted. I have a special connection to this couple. The bride's dad and bonus mom were married at our Rose 4 years ago. I love that I'm able to be part of such a special event. What do avid baseball fans do on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in late September? They get married at The Rose! This couple and their guests were so much fun to work with! Their love for each other and the game sparked the perfect theme for their wedding. Bet you can guess their team by the color choices!
Not only was the bride excited to be marrying the love of her life, yesterday she met a brother she only recently learned existed! Our bride and a brother she grew up with met their newly discovered brother for the first time at the wedding! How amazing is that?!! Every wedding held at The Rose is special and every couple is unique. This union of siblings was one of the most beautiful and touching things I've ever witnessed! The new brother drove from Washington state and couldn't wait for the ceremony to be done so he could meet little sis!
We wish our newlyweds and their now extended family a life full of love, happiness, and new adventures together!
