This wedding was a favorite of mine from 2023. Partly because Hanna was a high school friend of mine (absolutely SO sweet, intelligent, and hilarious), partly because they got married on her family's gorgeous family property, and partly because of the abundance of color florals I got to use for this wedding!

I'm always a fan of the unexpected.
The non-traditional.
The make-you-look-twice.

The little pops of blue in Belle's bouquet (and throughout the entire floral design) gave the touch of the unexpected to a fall wedding design that I just absolutely adore.

This windy, cold, and grey day didn't stop our amazing couple from having an amazing day. And while those ceremony arrangements were literally weighed down by tens of rocks...the wind couldn't even damper the floral beauty 😂

It's so important to hire professionals who can roll with whatever circumstances nature gives us the day of the wedding, and bring your dreams to life no matter what happens (even if that's a beautiful plan b).

When Rachel and Brian first inquired for their February wedding at they wanted neutrals with a pop of color...but like so many other WFD couples by the time their wedding rolled around they chose to do a 180 and go for a color packed, jewel tone, mossy wedding 😍

Looking back on my weddings for 2023 and 2024 SO many couples have swayed from neutral to colorful. While there's nothing wrong with neutrals, I'm always up for a colorful wedding-especially when there's moss involved AND !!

One of the great things about booking with WFD is whether you stay true to your initial inspiration or ponder doing a 180-you don't need to have it all figured out when you book! The most important pieces when booking are ensuring you feel a level of trust and connection, you're okay with my minimum, and you are excited to be booking someone who will walk alongside you every step of the way.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with all-white flower weddings... but🥰... what if we added just a touch of "spice"✨✨✨?

In this case, we started with all whites and with the Bride's encouragement prior to the wedding (more specifically a "we trust you" email asking for some ways to add spice to the all white!) we infused some undertones of peachy blush and golden hues. I believe it elevated the entire aesthetic and beautifully complemented the historical charm of the venue.

The muted tones in the local cosmos, foxglove, and scabiosa from were truly the stars of the show (other than our stunning couple, of course!)!😍
