We recently produced a brand launch event for a corporate client. The clients vision was to showcase a modern style event that included a fashion show, event lighting technology, and a spoil of an evening for the employees in attendance.

We surely delivered!!! Guests were treated to a unique event space, a parade of gifts, and a playful menu of creative food.

A little story from a long time ago. My first professional job in the events industry was with Perfect Parties USA. Pictured here is my cousin Josh. We began slinging events together in our early twenties and have pretty much been a dynamic duo for a long time! When I started CID, Josh was there. When I moved into our first warehouse, Josh was there. When Covid tried to take us down, Josh was there. Now, celebrating 10 years with CID, of course, Josh was there! This time, he was there not only as my "brosin" (brother cousin, get it?), but as a representative of Perfect Parties USA, where he is a production manager, traveling across the country executing events. The short hand still exists and I would trust him with any of my events at any time. I'm very proud of his skills and how they have grown throughout the years!

Back to Perfect Parties... They provided a selection of glow games to go with the Glow Up theme of the event. We count on them for the unique fun that makes an event come to life! Thank you PParties for being my foundation in this industry and part of the future of what CID will become!

When planning an event for yourself, sometimes, emotions get the best of you and you get a bit overwhelmed with all the different options, decisions, directions, etc. As an event professional, I am able to offer counsel to my clients that always reflects back the event goals. During the process of planning Glow Up for CID, I found myself getting stuck in the planning vortex! So, I turned to my colleague, Jen, to help remind me of my event goals. Jen is the owner of Cove Rock Consulting, and her skills with large scale event management, were exactly what I need to help straighten me and push me forward.

Tom began his company roughly around the same time as CID. We grew as business owners together and have helped each other along the way. CID even had the pleasure of being part of his daughter's wedding celebration!!

Tom has been an incredible industry leader that I look up to. During the dark ages (the covid years), I recall meeting him at his home and crying all my frustrations to him. To meet a person that offers a safe space of support, guidance and friendship is incredibly valuable. When I design an event with him, he takes it seriously, and works hard to support the overall event vision.

We have to share our sincerest appreciate to the entire team at the Sheraton Commander Hotel. Judy, Ashlee, Dawn, the entire house staff, servers, bartenders....everyone made this event perfect!

Of course, my friend of 20 years, Judy Belcher, CSEP, sharing her beautiful words with Team CID is what blew us all away. She captured what a day in the life of an event professional really looks like.

has been a staple for all of my large scale events! This incredible group of talented performers can literally cover ANY song you want! From Motown, to hip hop, to top 40 and beyond. I have had the pleasure of working with this band for quite a few events over the years, and it's always such a joy.

Fun little story that I love to share about my experience with them....
A client brought in a female lead to join the band for a really important performance. My production team and I planned for a flash mob, light cue, sound cue...the works! Sadly, the female had to cancel due to illness on the day of the event, for a very legitimate reason. It was that day that I admitted to my client that I could sing, specifically, the cue song that they needed. So, I had my moment of fun joining this group of pros on the stage! My passion for work is events, but my true personal passion is music. It was SO fun!

So, please follow Felix Brown and keep them in mind for your events! They truly bring the joy to any event and your guests will be dancing all night long!

Last year, we worked with the Black Diamond Event Production team to help produce their rebrand launch party last year. Through the planning of their event, we learned a lot about how to create an impactful experience for guests. Since, BDE and CID have worked on quite a few events together, learning and growing our respective production companies along the way.

Thank you to the Black Diamond Crew for always showing up! You're all a blast to work with and get the job done. We look forward to years of fun together on future events!

2009, I met Mike. Mike is the sole reason I speak the world of event production, as he taught me everything I know. His patient demeanor, can-do make-it-happen attitude, and willingness to empower me to be a production designer is why I have the job I have today.

I have worked with since the start of CID in 2015 on hundreds of event, and was asked often if I worked for this company in outside sales. This partnership is wonderful and I will always supply coffee and cookies for my favorite people! Thank you for always making me feel part of the AES family.

For the next week, we will be expressing our individual appreciation to all the event partners that made our 10th anniversary celebration such a huge success.

To start us off, we have to thank the team from 4Wall Productions for their incredible 3D Mapping technology. This technology allows a production designer like myself to paint any space in light with specific designs, themed graphics, logos, and more. Taking a small graphic vision and turning it into a room full of design is a true talent that requires clear communicated strategic goals for the mood and feel in the event space.

On a personal note, I want to share my gratitude to Steve Way, who has been a colleague and friend for many years through ILEA Boston. He has always shared his support, guidance, and grace for me, my team and my company since I began in this industry so many years ago. Together, we produce annual events for ILEA, which is an experience I treasure each year.

Also, I have to thank Mark Consiglio, who I met at MPI New England. His brilliance in event technology has been a true gift. As a production designer, translating between an event vision to technology ex*****on requires a lot of conversation. Mark's patience and willingness to have the hard conversations is appreciated and necessary for any event experience.

This past weekend, team CID celebrated the 10th Anniversary of being in business. While celebrating, we announced that Consider It Done Special Events was getting a Glow Up! We will now be called CID Event Productions! In true CID fashion, we wanted to share the news to our family and friends the best way we know how...throw a party!

It takes more than 40 event professionals, 2 days of set up, MANY phone calls and in-person meetings to develop a brand launch of this magnitude. There are so many people to thank, which we will be sharing over social media over the next couple of weeks.

For now, we would like to share our sincerest thanks to all those who attended the event to celebrate with us and the 16 event partners that shared their wisdom, time and services to this event.

This holiday season, CID will be showing support to the local chapter of Wreaths Across America. This national organization delivers wreaths to local towns to be placed on the gravesite of our fallen soldiers, including those resting at Arlington National Cemetery. As the granddaughter of a Master Sargent in the Air Force and relative to many others who have served, this act of service really tugs on heart strings.
