Want to know a little more about our special venue?

We are a proud farming family, and our venue is located on the back of our 70-acre cattle farm. 🐂 We raise beef cattle, and you'll almost certainly see them when you're here. Sometimes, we drive right through the herd when we're showing the venue. You can usually even get pics with the cows!

✨ The valley isn't visible from the road, and when you're back there, you won't see anyone or anything else around. It's secluded, naturally beautiful, and completely peaceful. 🥰

✨ We have a water feature on the property. Our pond isn't fancy -- it's functional -- our cattle drink from it. But there's definite natural beauty there, especially with the reflection of the trees on the water.

✨ We have an adorable bridal cabin on the hill just down from our woodland ceremony site, and it's the PERFECT place for the bride to get dressed and relax before making her grand entrance.

✨ You can enjoy a beautiful tented reception right here on the property, and we have plenty of lights for twinkle and ambiance.

✨ Want a big bonfire after-party? No problem! We have a vast open area in the valley that is perfect for a bonfire, and we'll be glad to build one for you.

✨ While we have a list of vendors that we work with regularly, you are more than welcome to bring your own vendors.

✨ We gladly offer payment plans with no fees or interest. We simply need a small deposit to secure your preferred date, and then we will design a payment arrangement that works with your budget.

✨ We don't do typical barn weddings. We have a big, old barn on the property, but it's still in use. We can still rock a rustic wedding, though! We just do it a little differently. ;)

The focus of this event is to allow bereaved families a chance to walk in honor of their late loved ones 💔and to help keep precious memories alive, all while celebrating life and sharing joy with family, friends & fashion!

As well as FABULOUS fashions from local boutiques, we will also have live music, dancing, custom catering, a cocktail bar, and exclusive shopping privileges (with gorgeous booths set up by yours truly and several of our sponsors -- including pieces from the show)!

Proceeds from this event will go to Kind & Caring, Inc. to help fund and expand our scholarship program and our kindness campaigns (which are coming to local schools very soon).

We’re excited that tomorrow is opening day for our store!!

My sister and I previously talked about opening a store, but we never really made any plans. Last week, things just kind of fell into place. I called about the building one day, looked at it the next day, signed the lease the following day, started updating the inside of the store that same day, and received our first donations the day after that. Now, just a few days later, we’re ready for business!! 😃

The Acoustic Shoppe

DID YOU KNOW that we have an amazing little musician on site? He just happens to be our cute nephew, Ado. He'll be performing at our upcoming Christmas celebration, and he's available to play at your wedding/event! Just watch his video below. I promise you'll be impressed.

Ado happens to be the son of our awesome on-site officiant, Greg Porter. In addition to being a licensed officiant, Greg is also a school resource officer, emergency management director and DJ. He also offers specialized travel services, and he would love to help you book your honeymoon or vacation!

Picked up a gorgeous antique settee today! It will be a beautiful addition to our Regal Romance themed weddings this weekend. 💗💗💗

We also added a few more gorgeous trunks to our collection this week. 🤩 I LOVE old furniture, and trunks are probably my FAVORITE! 🥰

We took advantage of the beautiful weather this afternoon and spent some time adorning the valley in preparation for our upcoming pop-up weddings! 💜

My handsome husband and my sister's sweetie built a tree swing for us 💜💜 and hung two of my gorgeous chandeliers. 🤩 In case I haven't mentioned it before, they're pretty good guys!

Meanwhile, my sister and I enjoyed our time creating grapevine masterpieces. ;)

I can hardly wait to decorate the area around our tree swing! It's simply dreamy. 💜

In case I haven't mentioned it before, that's my beautiful baby sister. We were honored to host their big day!

Speaking of our 11/17 pop-up event, the following slots are currently available: 12:00, 2:00, 4:00 and 6:00. A total of 90 minutes will be allowed for each session. You may divide the time as you wish between your ceremony and/or reception. We will also offer complimentary time in our bridal cabin to prepare for your big day (up to an hour before your scheduled time slot).

These pop-up slots are all-inclusive, so you simply need to show up with your marriage license, dress and guests! The total cost of each all-inclusive ceremony is $750. A down payment of $250 will be needed to reserve your preferred time (then we can discuss payment arrangements for the remaining $500).

As a bonus, we are also offering a free bonfire celebration following the 6:00 p.m. session!

💗 We’ve had several inquiries regarding reservations for our Regal Romance Pop-Up Event on November 17, 2019. We can reserve your preferred time slot for an initial payment of $250 (which will be credited toward your total cost). Once your initial payment has been made, we will be happy to discuss potential payment arrangements for the remaining balance.

Due to the enchanting ambiance of romantic lighting during evening ceremonies, those slots usually go quickly, so please don’t hesitate if you’re interested in an evening wedding. We don’t want you to miss the magic!

For those with a time slot already booked at the time of our drawing, should you happen to win the giveaway, we will refund any payments made toward your balance AND allow you to keep your preferred time slot. So there’s nothing to lose!

**WHO'S UP FOR A POP-UP?!**

We are excited to host our first pop-up wedding event on Sunday, November 17, 2019. In case you're not familiar with pop-up weddings, they're intimate ceremonies designed to give couples a maximum impact with minimal costs and virtually no planning. Basically a small(ish), all-inclusive, elegant wedding at a premier venue -- and all you have to do is simply show up with your dress and guests! As a relatively new trend, they’re gaining in popularity worldwide as people continue to evolve in the choices they make with regard to their big day.

We are booking four 90-minute weddings for our 11/17 event, with the first beginning at 12:00 p.m. and the last one scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. (with 30 minutes between each session).

The ceremonies held on November 17 will include private use of our beautifully decorated venue with seating for up to 50 guests, a licensed officiant (who also serves as a fantastic DJ), professional photos by HNA Photography, use of our private bridal suite, a professional hair and makeup stylist for the bride, live music provided by my adorable little nephew (seriously, what could be cuter than a sweet little guy slaying your favorite love song on one of his many instruments -- people just swoon over him!), and use of our Bluetooth sound system.

As shown below, the theme for this pop-up will be regal romance with warm jewel tone decor and vintage furniture adorning and enhancing the natural beauty of the valley. 🤩 (Be still my heart!)

One thing I LOVE about woodland weddings is how they're so versatile, and they feel almost magical. Once you enter the forest, you can't help but feel the enchantment. It's almost like stepping away from reality or pausing time.

With such a gorgeous natural backdrop, nearly any style fits just perfectly. And although we can accommodate any size reception tent (or even multiple tents), we have plenty of alternative options as well. You can display your goodies directly on the tree stumps if you want! The possibilities are endless.

These guys have worked SO HARD to get things ready for my baby sister’s big day. They’ve dedicated their weekends, many nights after work, and even vacation days to get this done. I’m so thankful for all their hard work and dedication. I don’t think there’s anything they wouldn’t do for us.

We've had several different guys on the property today, and every single one of them somehow implied that we should be putting in a hunting cabin instead of a bridal suite. 🤦‍♀️

But that made me realize I had been taking at least one aspect of this special place for granted -- the beautiful and majestic native animals that so often appear. Now that I think about it, I've seen families of deer on my trip in or out of the valley every day this week. 🥰 Maybe we'll capture them in a wedding photo some day!

I've been busy with the business side of things (and shopping for SUPER COOL one-of-a-kind pieces to make things extra special) while the family has been mowing, trimming brush, building benches and hanging lights. Things are coming together SO beautifully! 😍 I wish I could show you the ceremony site, but I better save that reveal for my sister's big day! 💞
