The Billings Petroleum Club began in 1954 in the basement of the Northern Hotel in downtown Billings, Montana. Oilmen and other professionals talked business there until for almost 30 years before the Sheraton hotel was built across the street in 1980. The top floor of the brick masonry was built specifically for the Petroleum Club. Upon its completion, the Sheraton hotel was declared “the tallest

load-bearing brick masonry building in the world” by the Brick Institute of America. The Billings Petroleum Club has served its members, their children, and their children’s children for over 65 years. A gorgeous remodel was completed in 2016 and serves as Billings only panoramic view of the city and Beartooth Mountains. Intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions up to 250 guests makes for the perfect day at this hidden treasure in Montana’s biggest city.
