I don’t encourage my students to do anything I wouldn’t do myself. When I preach about the immense benefits of having the right footwear for dancing I mean it! My old ballroom shoes were worn to the studs and getting threadbare I loved them so much! They assisted me in learning, performing, winning competitions, and teaching. I was overdue for new ones. I bought from one of the best companies in the entire world this time and my feet couldn’t be happier. In fact I have another pair still being crafted as well. Because I dance and teach all styles I own all styles of dance shoes. So start with the pair that fits your most danced genre or most loved style first and over time build your own set of tools.

⚡️🐝 Grab a friend and come to our show! The MSUB Jazz Orchestra and Afro Latin Ensemble directed by John Roberts will perform at the MSUB Cisel Recital Hall on the Billings campus. You will hear works by Thad Jones, Duke Ellington, Louis Bellson, Pedro Flores, Cal Tjader and more! Entry by Donation or free with student ID. THE VENUE HAS CHANGED for this concert, so please make your way to Cisel Hall November 21st!

We will be building onto what is being taught in November for many of our classes (it’s not too late to join this week!) and starting up a new Country Western Two step session woohoo!
Learn to dance with me
Then go out into the wild with confidence!
I’ll be sharing many of the local places where you can go dancing to practice and have fun! With so many wonderful ones popping up, I don’t even feel the need to run my own socials to compete with them, rather I would like us all go out on the town and support the businesses who are creating them. Together, we will make Billings a great place to go dancing !

It’s one week from the Dancing with the big sky stars competition and Akvilina and Andy are hard at work preparing. Yesterday we had one of the judges, Dr Mary Gaddy come visit and give insight. She was thrilled with what she saw! I know you will too! Just making people aware that my front entrance is not accessible for at least a few weeks! I’ll have to limit the accessibility a little bit. So no drop ins please. (I usually welcome them and love getting to see your friendly faces as a fun addition to my day so this request is just temporary) Make an appointment and I’ll be using my side door that faces the parking lot .

We are starting our summer schedule early! This means regular weekly classes will start up again September. You can still book private lessons by appointment for the summer months.
