What makes a Shannon Lutkins Photography session with Santa special?

Each child or group will get up to 10 minutes with Santa. While that might sound short, it’s actually the perfect amount of time for a meaningful experience (most photographers only book 5-minute sessions). I intentionally schedule longer sessions so it’s not just about taking a quick photo—it’s about creating an experience. During the session, your child can chat with Santa, share their Christmas list, or listen to a short story. Santa loves to talk about his reindeer, tell stories, and share fun details about his elves. It’s truly a magical time, and I believe that can’t be captured in a rushed session.

This wedding is one I’ll always remember! The couple couldn’t have been sweeter, and their guests were just as thoughtful and kind. Many of them spoke French, but every time I was nearby, they switched to English to make sure I felt included—a gesture that really touched me.

And let me tell you, the newlyweds’ exit in Grandpa’s vintage Model T was the cutest send-off ever! Such a perfect, timeless way to end a beautiful day. 💕

This past Saturday with Emily and Blake was a wedding to remember. Emily and Blake are just the sweetest. Congratulations you two!

I can not wait to share with you all the amazing florals done by her super talented mother. The food also done by her catering company Highly Favored Catering. I will recommend them every single time.

Truth is…Yesterday I was editing Santa photos and listening to Christmas music. For the next 28 days I’ll listen to both Christmas and standard music. Come December 1 only Christmas music exists for me. It brings me such a sense of calm.

When do you start listening?
