One of the floral, “IT” girls this year is the grounded floral arch. As a designer it’s one of my top 3 favorites. There’s nothing I love more as a designer then copying nature. Flowers grow from the ground up, designing an arch that resembles nature is an honor and a treat. Nature knows what’s it’s doing, wouldn’t you agree?

Drum roll please! It’s time to meet the Trellis Team. Wedding season is like a never ending high-school pep rally for us lovely ladies. There are the late night behind the scenes prep parties, glitter pens, magic markers and poster boards. Followed by the inevitable “What are we going to wear?!” Then it's off to the Flower Caravan as we roll out,to win another wedding weekend. We are our biggest cheerleaders! We love what we do& who we do it with! Now@without further ado, the Trellis Team!

Caitlyn, Favorite Flower: Lupine.
Caitlyn is our corsage connoisseur and as a graduate of the Portland Floral Design Institute brings so indispensable talent to the Team. Her ability to plan, operate and orchestrate makes her the perfect perfectionist. Her naturally gifted eye for design and creativity shines through in all her floral’s. She is one talented lady.

Jenn, Favorite Flower: Anything Fragrant, just like her!!! Jenn leaves a scent of life, love&laughter wherever she goes.
But don't let her laid back demeanor fool you, she brings the expertise of some of the busiest floral shops on the West Coast. She’s a no-nonsense straight shooter and one heck of a floral designer.

Charis, our Sunflower. Charis is the newest addition to the Trellis team
& an invaluable addition. She has spent the summer interning with us, hustling her tail off before she heads off to school. She is cool, calm and collected and like the sunflower follows the sun. She finds the positive in everything and radiates kindness.

Then there’s Me, Blaire. Favorite flower: Lilac. I’m the owner and lead designer at Trellis. I have creatively and artistically designed every single bridal bouquet you see here. I have always had an eye for design, growing up in flower shops, florals have always filled my days. I’ve trained with some of the best designers from all over the world and somehow made my passion my career. A rewarding career filled chaos, my best girls, and laughter. I hustle here and there and live off dried mangos and non-fat chai’s. Even after a 16 hour work day I still catch myself stopping to smell the flowers. If that isn’t proof enough I love what I do then I don’t know what is 💙

Here in the Hood River Valley, of the majestic Columbia River Gorge we are know for a great many things; wedding venues, wind sports and wineries. But did you know before all those wonders came to be we were busy planting apple trees?!!!

Fun fact first apple trees were planted here in 1854. Look how far we’ve come! 🍏

Your entire life can really change in a year….. if Covid has taught us anything it has taught us that.

I keep reminding myself to love myself, to know and believe in my heart I deserve more, to be brave enough to demand more and to stay disciplined enough to whole-heartedly work for more.

I can’t wait to see and experience the many changes in store this year ahead. How about you?
