I couldn’t post our team photos without sharing the gratitude I have in my heart for my team. As most of you know, I welcomed my first baby, Wells, into the world in December of 2022. I then moved to Georgia for four months (back in Birmingham now!!). These ladies completely stepped up and served our brides and their weddings SO well. They have diligently trained to become rockstar wedding professionals & spent countless hours on the phone with me, vendors, and brides. All of their hard work paid off and now they are all successful independent planners who can run and plan weddings without my help. That was the dream when I rebranded to WJ & Co., to invest in women who had a passion for wedding planning and design with a servant heart. These women did that and more and I am so thankful to have a strong team behind me during one of the biggest transitional moments of my life- becoming a mom 🩵. I’m thrilled to be back 100% and am so excited to jump back in the wedding day chaos, it’s where I truly thrive!!

Also, not pictured is - Kylie was the first person I ever brought on the team. She taught me SO much about training and how to expand the reach of servanthood in this business. Developing strong women in weddings started with her and we’ve had so much fun together! AND now she’s a WJ & Co. Bride 🤍😭

We had a blast shooting with for our new headshots and team photos! We spent the evening in downtown Huntsville and enjoyed dinner and drinks at , then had a little slumber party at 🩷

Serving Brides in Huntsville is a full circle moment for me ( ) it’s where I grew up and met my husband 🤍 We also plan weddings frequently in Florence, Al (my Alma mater, roar lions💜🦁 and Go Gam♥️💛💚) and Birmingham, Al where I currently live! No matter where you are, we meet you and commit our best to serving you and your wedding well!

Side Note- we have team members that live in each city we serve! Birmingham, Huntsville, & Florence are our main areas with the most experience but we have and will travel to any city for our brides🤍

A common myth about choosing a country club as your wedding venue is that you don’t need an outside planner/coordinator, because they have an in-house wedding representative!

It is SO helpful to have a venue coordinator who solely serves weddings at the country club and knows it like the back of their hand. They represent the venue and help handle the country club’s side of the business when it comes to the wedding (catering, alcohol, venue logistics, etc.). Most details outside of that, for example- booking vendors, timeline creation, design planning, invitations, ceremony details, etc. fall on the bride and her team. That’s where we come in! We work together with you & your venue’s coordinator to create a seamless beautiful event 🤍 (we also love a good golf cart ride on wedding day for the bride……and us🤪)
