1. Time management. I really think that’s everyone. The thought that business owners have more free time is a misconception. We do have the freedom to do what we want when we want to but it too can be at a cost. We have deadlines to meet as well. And…if we don’t work we don’t get paid 🙁2. Financial Decisions. Who pays themselves correctly?!? 🧐 Seriously…I need to know. My year 4 I will not have the same issues. We get so caught up in scaling the business and investing that we short change our own pocket. Learning to budget as a business is important for growth and longevity. I’m getting there….if I can stop buying new balls every time I want to 🫠3. Delegation: Whew this one here. It goes in hand with number 2. Am I the only one who feels like I need more help but can’t afford more help? 🥸 I know I’m not. Learning to hire effectively is key. Get help guys! Halloween is almost here!! Are you dressing up?

We always broadcast our wins but I want to shed light on a moment I felt failure. Today I was supposed to transition to my new warehouse. I was suppose to post about how I’ve prayed for this and it finally happened. Well….things did not go as planned. I found out the floor plans would change due to inspection issues…which pretty much cancelled everything. I didn’t feel much at the time when I was told the news. I just kept saying “everything happens for a reason. It’ll be okay” I actually think I was a little numb. Today I felt disappointed and discouraged. I felt defeated. Then I was quickly reminded….God’s will not mine. It’s so easy to put all your energy into something you think is of God when it aligns with what YOU want. Now I know God has a plan for KKP and I know we are growing out of our current space, I know we will have a warehouse soon but the time to move is not yet. According to Isaiah 60:22, He will make it right…on His time. I need to align with Him and not the other way around. So….this is not defeat as I felt…this is redirection and realignment. I learned so much during this process so I will be able to go forward with more knowledge, more confidence, and more God. To anyone trying to do anything….remember failure is never failure. It’s always a lesson to get you closer to your next. Learn from it, pray, smile, and keep going! Oh and if you’re in Metro Alabama…book KKP. That’ll make me feel better ❤️‍🩹 🥹😂✊🏾
