Follow the making of these fun and beautiful mom's day arrangements! We are adding a bag of my favorite vanilla salt water taffy with them for a little something sweet π€π
Take a little trip to the production of an arrangment with me in under a minute ;): (Sidenote: I left out all the shopping, processing the flowers, cleaning the containers, cutting wire, clean-up, and the packing out of the video to make it not so "messy" π
)
- catch the vision of the client
- plan when to purchase the flowers to have time to process them at least 2-3 days before the event
- process flowers (this means stripping roses, and give each one some gentle love so they have a "bloomed" look and dissecting the baby's breath into usable pieces)
- clean the containers
- mix my water with a few ingredients π
- cut and shape wire for the containers
- secure wire balls with tape (waterproof of course - some tape works better than others. This one is just ok so I had to use extra)
- begin the base of Baby's breath for all containers (note: for a larger container, plan for more BB!! I did have to go get more for the fullness I wanted π¬)
- add roses
- I also added spray roses to some of these
- pack carefully (since I'm trying to be resourceful in my first year, I collected sturdy boxes from Costco, and pool noodles (dollar tree) paper, and other boxes to pack.
- pack the car
- drive carefully π
π
- set them on a table with a beautiful landscape and enjoy!!
Thank you to my friend @carlaragland for trusting me with her son's @calebraglandd rehearsal dinner!! She has always believed in me and I'm so grateful she's been in my life for over 25 years! πππππ
