Kennedy states that, "I graduated (with Honors) from Edgewater High School in Orlando, FL on May 28, 2024. I will start college this fall at Full Sail University (on scholarship) majoring in Game Development.

I love playing video games and watching videos of game playing.
I enjoy doing community outreach.

"Hi! I'm Sanaá Davis, an upcoming senior at Ramsay IB High School. I am proud to be a member of two prestigious organizations at Ramsay IB High School: The Birmingham Merit Scholar Program 2023-2024 and Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). I have maintained a 3.54 GPA while being a student-athlete. I also enjoy playing club/travel volleyball for Alabama Performance Volleyball Club and aspire to play at the collegiate level while obtaining a bachelor’s degree in architecture. My dream and aspiration is to become an Interior Architect."

Sanaa's interview skills were IMPECCABLE, SECOND TO NONE ... Please WELCOME Christina Hall as the newly hired Assistant Events’ Sales Manager here at The Harbert Center!

Christina comes to us from Children’s Hospital where she most recently worked as an Event Planner since 2019. Prior to then, Christina served as a Clerk for a local law firm.

Christina’s experience includes areas of office management along with strategic and organizational planning. She has already shown herself to be a self-starter and an independent thinker.

We are excited for the skillset and customer service experiences to our guests and clients that she will provide to our operations.

In honor of #NationalSmallBusinessWeek, we want to throw it back to this @CBS 42 feature of our #EventVenue! Birmingham figures such as Ron Carpenter Jr and @kenjackson talk about who we are and what we do as a small business in the event industry. For the time being, our events won’t look the same as they are featured in the video. We have implemented significant changes in order to reduce an array of risks as best we can. Reduced maximum capacities, a progressive check-in/registration process, sanitizers available throughout the building and on tables, pre-packed/disposable catering changes, increased service parameters around tables with no more than 3 seats each, and much more are part of our new event management strategy! We have our client’s, guest’s and staff's health and best interests at heart.
